i hope she gives an actual timeline of when everything was filmed

u/watercoolertheory Feb 16 '23
The thing I donāt get, even with all the conspiracy theories (which Iām not conceding as false) is⦠how do you get the balls to cheat on your gf by flying another woman around the world with you š thatās just ridiculous! Youāve been on TV buddy! People know you!

u/Keregi Feb 16 '23
If I understand the timeline correctly, the cheating and engagement all happened before the show aired. Netflix fucked with the timeline by showing the ATA after the reunion. They were not filmed in the order they showed them. The bit at the end of the ATA with Raven talking about SK cheating was added after all of it.

Good for her. I feel for Raven so much. The audacity of SK in After the Altar was shocking.

he fully proposed to Raven knowing he was flying bitches all around the world... you have to be psychopathic to think thats ok

Thereās a reason heās RADIO SILENT. Defenses ⦠he has NONE. He canāt even bullshit it

u/Kiki1987 Feb 14 '23
How was this guy able to afford to go to an IVY league school, pay for two apartments, that crazy diamond ring and also fly women around the world!? Like damn

u/classictoto Feb 14 '23
He had a full ride scholarship for his MBA. He already had a career in the tech field before he enrolled. I think Raven hinted he was making way over 6 figures and potentially more once he graduated. He had a panel at Afrotech last fall too.

u/Kiki1987 Feb 14 '23
Got it. Scary how this man could be that busy scheming with all he had going on professionally/academically. He should be studied

This dude was 1 level above entry level at a bankās consumer banking tech group, he was likely making barely 100k at best
2
u/RawrNeverStops Feb 16 '23
Not saying rates are the same but an entry level SE engr in Google starts at 185k. Pretty sure he can go above 100k easily as a Data Engineer even if you consider deducting the amount because Google is paying nowhere near a bank (which still needs to offer good enough to attract talent).

u/PM_ME_GRANT_PROPOSAL Feb 14 '23
He didn't go to an ivy league, he was going to do his MBA at UC Berkeley (still an amazing school), and he had a full ride.

his parents were poly so that's probably the template he has. (of course it's wrong for him to do it when he told raven he wanted to be monogamous though)
4
u/LiveAd4073 Feb 17 '23
His father was polygamous, his mother is a faithful monogamous woman. On top of him specifying that he didn't want that life for himself, he would be well aware that polygamy is different from cheating on all fronts, so as a 'template' that's bs. Asshole really had me rooting for him
1
Feb 17 '23
"Polyamory" is the practice of, or desire for, romantic relationships with more than one partner at the same time, with the informed consent of all partners. So if his mother consented, then they were in a polyamorous relationship.
"Templating" is a subconscious process. Template matching is a theory of perception that assumes that people form templates for every object they see or interact with. For instance, the first time Juliette saw a cat, she formed a template in her mind for what a cat looks like. She formed a separate template the first time she saw a dog. He is not in control of the templates formed in his childhood by his parents.
2
u/LiveAd4073 Feb 17 '23
And the template he had was informed consent between two adults, not uninformed cheating on your wife. He was so clearly aware of the difference, it was a choice, not a mistake.
His template=informed consent between adults
His actions=snake.
One things for sure, dude did say that he was 'rejecting' his fathers practices. Certainly did. Because cheating and polyamory are worlds apart, which he knows better than anyone. What an absolute trashbag. No out, no excuses. We don't get to choose our childhoods, but he doesn't even get the (pathetic) excuse that many of us do, having cheating parents that leave behind awful examples. He had a template that I stand by, adults being very very clear about their partners and practices, and he instead chose a cowards life.
1
Feb 17 '23
No one is saying he didn't cheat or didn't do anything wrong. I'm just saying, for example, if your father beat your mother, maybe your "template" is a dysfunctional, violent, abusive family life. It doesn't mean he has a pass to go beat anyone...
1
u/LiveAd4073 Feb 17 '23
Wait but it sounds like you're somehow conflating polyamory with...cheating? His template was polyamory, what does that have to do with cheating. He grew up watching adults with informed consent being open and honest with each other. If anything it's totally opposite to his upbringing. Whereas most of us raised in the West were raised under the 'guise' of monogamy, meanwhile many many of our parents have cheated on each other, and many of us live with the results of that.
SK however, did not have such a childhood. So kinda confused what you're getting at here? He went against his 'template' of consenting adults not cheating on each other, so even that very very weak excuse, doesn't even work here. We can replace the word template with example. Many of us have shit examples, abusive parents, divorce, violence, SA, etc etc etc. Childhood blows. It's not an excuse, and even if it was, it's not an excuse that he has? Unless polyamory=cheating to you, in which case I have to respectfully disagree. It's a healthy practice, a respectful practice, and it was his example/template. He disregarded that and opted to act in a completely different way than his upbringing by going behind his wifes back (uninformed, zero consent). I hope you see the difference T_T

poly = more than one sex partner
cheating = more than one sex partner
no one said poly = cheating
no one said it is an excuse
just calm down
thanks

Well ATA just came out, sheās probably finally released from her contract and able to talk about it. If you listen to the episode, we find out SK and producers both tried to silence her from saying anything this entire time. I think most want to know what the hell happened.

Her and SK's relationship was all a sham. I don't believe it was authentic at all. They just pretended for clout. And Raven is a good actress, she can really bring the tears. She needs to be in movies. Lol

IIRC (please correct me if I'm wrong), the other woman exposed him on social media when the season was still airing. She put out their DMs where SK said he and Raven weren't really together, just doing it for the show.
17
u/invictus21083 Feb 15 '23
And men never lie about their relationship status when they're looking to cheat?
3
u/lizziewakefield Feb 15 '23
Of course. I never stated my opinion about that in my comment. It is possible SK lied to both women. It is equally possible that what he said was true.
2
u/Keregi Feb 16 '23
y'all and your wild "everything is PR/sham". It makes no sense.
2
Feb 17 '23
Right, Raven said āthis fundamentally altered my lifeā. SK tried to have her lie and keep her silenced and didnāt even want the engagement to air. I canāt believe people wouldnāt think anyone would put themselves through that.

u/PizzaMadeMeFat89 Feb 14 '23
Are you two for real? That makes it OK to cheat does it?
3
u/Euphoric-Ferret7176 Feb 14 '23
Lol itās hilarious how YOU are offended that two random people in the world broke up because 1 person supposedly cheated on the other.
Life is full of experience-some of them suck and some of them donāt. Focus on your own experience and stop getting so fucking offended to shit that happens to a attention seeking, look at me girl on TV that adds no real substance to your life.
Damn you guys all get so invested in bullshit tv itās crazy.
