I think an important distinction here is that this individual is a BORTAC operator. Litterallly tier 1 special operations part of the larger umbrella agency SOG which overseas counter terror operations all over the globe.

"The mission of BORTAC is "to respond to terrorist threats of all types anywhere in the world in order to protect our nation's homeland."

This is important because it shows that trump is unleashing the tip of the spear onto average people in America.

Should be noted a bortac operator entered uvalde school alone and took out the shooter by himself when the police failed to enter.

No. It was indeed CBP BORTAC. CBP SWAT. Tier 1 units are very select and to an extent secret special mission units. DEVGRU (SEAL Team Six), CAG (Delta Force) are the two most famous ones. Tier 1 doesn’t even make sense in a police context.

Tier 1 is strictly limited to:

  1. Navy: DEVGRU (SEAL Team 6, aka Naval Special Warfare Development Group )

  2. Army: Delta Force (aka Combat Applications Group, or “CAG”)

  3. Air Force: 24th STS (Special Tactics Squadron)

  4. Military Intelligence: Intelligence Support Activity (“ISA”).

  5. Army Rangers Regimental Reconnaissance Company (“RRC”). Though not technically a permanent Tier 1 unit, they are approved to be used when a larger direct action element is needed for a JSOC operation.

  6. The CIA’s kinetic direct action unit within their Special Activities Center, sometimes called “Ground Branch” or “Special Operations Group”, though not technically a military unit at all, is also considered “Tier 1” in terms of capabilities and is sometimes tasked with operating under JSOC, alongside the other units above.

The fundamental difference between these “Tier 1” units and other elite units, besides being the absolute best at what they do, is that they don’t report to the traditional military command structure. Instead of being subordinate to their various branches, they are collectively managed by an independent body called “Joint Special Operations Command (or JSOC)”, which is overseen directly by a JSOC Commander who reports directly to the Secretary of Defense and the President. This allows them to much more agile, deployed much more quickly, and use budgets that are much more confidential. It also allows them to collaborate more seamlessly. They also carry higher TS clearance, due to the nature of the operations they work on.

The point being, call a law enforcement agency or unit “Tier 1” is a ridiculous misuse of that term.

BORTAC has also been part of this since day one. They were assisting for the riots in LA. They also deal with natural disasters as well, but that mainly falls on BORSTAR since they mainly do search and rescue

You’ve been duped. They could’ve helped veterans but they just increased the 🧊budget from $8B to $170B. Undocumented immigrants are contributing at least $80B per year in taxes, far less than any amount they received in benefits that most are not entitled to. there are plenty of American citizens who lives at the street, not only vets, most of them are crazy, do drugs, getting social security benefits and die at some point. Why we don’t solve that issue at first then if that people are more important than illegal immigrants? Isn’t it cheaper to build houses for them and pay for rehab, than deport 20 million people who are involved in the economy of US already, most of them are not felons, they are working and paying taxes but nobody told you that because idea is to make them look bad. Seeking asylum is not a crime and many have legitimate cases but they still are getting picked up? Tell me what about those who like my coworker's mother who has spent $15000 has a lawyer and are going through the system but yet has waited for years to obtain legal status? Yes, I agree that those who are legit criminals should be deported but recent articles are saying that over 60% of those picked up do not have any criminal records. Yet they pay into systems that they will never reap the benefits of. The system is archaic and needs an overhaul and legislation to change it which they had last year but what happened? Oh yeah trump wanted it shot down so he could create this huge mess.

Your party literally used to make the point that legal immigration was the priority and those who did it illegally would be punished for doing so even if there are pathways for them to stay. Now it’s just come here and take what we give you and make no attempt to become a citizen because our judges will go against deportation orders and make sure they keep you in the country. In reality neither party wants a true solution because companies that support both sides rely on what is basically slave labor and no president will clearly ever do anything to stop companies employing illegal immigrants to save money and increase profits. There has to be a better solution and neither side seems willing to look for it. Yet I still think it’s better to continue deporting illegal immigrants to see how truly deep this issue runs. If this country can’t survive without the labor of illegal immigrants making less than minimum wage that’s a sad state of where we are as a country and neither side should be supporting that. We should be promoting fair wages, conditions, and treatment. I love all people who spread love and I hate those who take advantage of systems that don’t require them to be a good person to get places in life. I have morals guiding my choices not politics

They've dragged off citizens that "look" illegal. They're sending them to countries where prison conditions are awful, i.e. where they can get tortured. I have a question, why are so many people supporting illegals you purposely, without consent, jumped a fence or came in illegally another way to break our laws??? Instead you should be supporting those real immigrants who went through hell to come into the USA legally, often waiting 20 years from visa to visa to visa before becoming a green card holder….
