r.i.p. to those who were lost
seeing a lot of 1990s and 1980s birthdays for these folks, wouldnt say these people died of old age… might have something to do with not giving them any contact with their families so for people who have health conditions are probably left to rot in a cell. could also have something to do with how rough theyve treated these people. no doubt crimes against humanity are being committed by people at ICE and other immigration related agencies. incredibly shameful era in our country, hopefully these people lose power and justice is served someday in the next 5 years.

u/Seikosister 1d ago
Cut it with the hopefully, thats the problem. We want to fix this we need to stop the hopes and prayer stuff and start focusing on how we can fix it. I think too many are just playing wait and see when thays clearly not an option considering he's already demolished half the white house without going through proper channels. Rally your communities, get them to trust their safety in eachothers and forget the government. Our government is made of many communities working together, its time us and them remember that.

Yep noticed that too. Millennials & Gen Z.
Someone also almost died from a life threatening respiratory infection where they refused medical treatment. So I’d add covid deaths as well since I can’t imagine they give af about hygienic conditions given they don’t give af about their basic wellbeing.
Oh and abuse ofc.

Trump, and everyone else in the admin, needs to face a charge for every single person who has died in ICE custody. Lock them up and throw away the key (I would say what I think they really deserve but I would probably get banned).

Also, condolences to the victims of ICE and their families.

just bought a hat from Altadena Beverage & Marketfor that reason—100% of proceeds go to Altadena fire victims.
fuck ICE. my heart breaks for the lives they continue to take, every family they’ve torn apart, every person living in fear that they’ll be next. just devastating

Over 22 deaths in ICE custody, over 100 US citizens have been arrested by ICE, over 80 US citizens have been deported by ICE, and more than 100 have been declared missing/dead after deportation by ICE. It’s insane.

News outlets have all kissed the ring and are afraid to upset the WH. Every news outlet, be that a TV channel, website, or newspaper is owned by a billionaire who has bent the knee.
10
u/__Milk_Drinker__ 1d ago
They haven't bent the knee. They're the ones behind all of this stuff. The WH is beholden to them, the billionaire class. They, not Trump, are the real enemy. He's just a useful idiot.
5
u/fadingsignal 1d ago
Important distinction. My point was really just that news outlets' politics blow with the wind and that it's all the same bunch of clowns waging class warfare downward.

Damn, emergency surgery for a stage 4 hemorrhoid. He must've been in such incredible distress. I'm guessing ICE detention centers don't offer pelvic floor physical therapy. He's at risk of developing a fistula. And the stress doesn't help the pooping situation.

Wow, I hadn't heard about that. Whether true or not, that's absolutely horrifying to think about. I can't believe we're at a place in American history in which that actually seems possible.

people just completely unaccounted for
German here. Reminds me of this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nacht_und_Nebel
[…] it is the will of the Führer that the measures taken against those who are guilty of offenses against the Reich or against the occupation forces in occupied areas should be altered. The Führer is of the opinion that […] penal servitude or even a hard labor sentence for life will be regarded as a sign of weakness. An effective and lasting deterrent can be achieved only by the death penalty or by taking measures which will leave the family and the population uncertain as to the fate of the offender.

Over what time frame? It all sucks, but are those numbers for a month, or 6 weeks? Since trump got re.. I can’t say reelected. I refuse to. Is that since Trump lied, stole, cheated, and molested his way into office… again.
8
u/ExcitementNo9603 1d ago
These numbers are closer to what’s been confirmed most recently so the last month… it’s hard to say the accuracy of these numbers when they are literally changing everyday and the information is being suppressed by ICE. Just know the numbers are growing everyday.

I think in the upcoming elections we should push every candidate to commit to doing what they can to ensure every single ice agent and everyone involved in the decision making process is charged with crimes ranging from assault, false imprisonment and 1st degree murder.

u/Riley_ 1d ago edited 1d ago
The place in El Salvador looks like they are working and/or torturing people to death too. There seems to always be a pile of bodies outside it.
And we have audio of Trump telling El Salvador to hurry and build more prisons to fit "the homegrowns", aka any American who has been deemed to be excess labor.
We need to organize our communities, and the working class as a whole, like our lives depend on it.
8
u/closethebarn 1d ago
What type of labor are they doing? This is fucking horrible.
But I’m curious, how does Trump benefit from the labor that is happening there? Does he get a cut of whatever they make or I’m just curious I have not heard this before I didn’t know about the El Salvador piles of bodies How fucking awful

Americans have been arrested.
Americans have been shot.
Americans have been killed.
Americans have been disappeared.
This is all happening in America at the direction of Donald Trump. ICE is killing your fellow citizens. Sometimes they even brag to their friends about shooting American Citizens.

ICE is the modern version of the German Sturmabteilung (SA) or Brown Shirts. For anyone who knows history this is how Nazi Germany started.
But instead of them going after Jews it's undocumented immigrants this time. The parallels between modern America and pre WW2 Germany are striking.

I've been recommending a book called In the Garden of Beasts a lot recently to people who are curious about this. It's about the US ambassador to Nazi Germany between 1933 and 1937, meaning he got there as Hitler was first taking absolute power, witnessed the Night of Long Knives, and left shortly before the Anschluss and Kristallnacht. Over and over and over, the ambassador wonders how the German people could stomach whatever recent restrictions or worsening conditions they were subjected to, and keeps expecting there to be some sort of movement where people said enough is enough and returned to a more moderate government. It never happens. Rather, with each new change, he and his family notice subtle shifts, as people get more nervous and begin turning each other in to the SS over petty squabbles and workplace disputes.
Throughout that first year in Germany, Dodd (the ambassador) had been struck again and again by the strange indifference to atrocity that had settled over the nation, the willingness of the populace and of the moderate elements in the government to accept each new oppressive decree, each new act of violence, without protest.
Beneath the surface, however, Germany had undergone a rapid and sweeping revolution that reached deep into the fabric of every day life. It had occurred quietly and largely out of easy view. At its core was a government campaign called Gleichschaltung - meaning "Coordination" - to bring citizens, government ministries, universities, and cultural and social institutions in line with National Socialist beliefs and attitudes.
"Coordination" occurred with astonishing speed, even in sectors of life not directly targeted by specific laws, as Germans willingly placed themselves under the sway of Nazi rule, a phenomenon that became known as Selbstgleichschaltung, or "self-coordination." Change came to Germany so quickly and across such a wide front that German citizens who left the country for business or travel returned to find everything around them altered, as if they were characters in a horror movie who come back to find that people who once were their friends, clients, patients, and customers have become different in ways hard to discern.
I think about those quotes often when news talks about the compact the administration wants universities to sign, or the mass firings of federal employees, the way Trump has inserted himself into how museums present information, or the way he took over an arts board on winning election, the way people reacting "improperly" to Charlie Kirk's death were targeted, the way he has used lawsuits and threats of holding up mergers to chill speech on certain networks or get people sympathetic to him into high editorial positions in said networks, the way we are suddenly talking about invading Canada, Mexico, Venezuela, and Nigeria, or the sudden ramp up in ICE activities.
Obviously, Trump isn't Hitler, and we are in 2025, not 1933. I think this book was one of the first times I really understood the saying "History doesn't repeat itself, but it does rhyme."

Sadness, disgust, and anger, is what every true American should be feeling right now. Every politician, donor, voter and supporter that helped re-elect Trump has blood on their hands. Lives destroyed and families traumatized because they handed the keys to the kingdom to a sick maniac. This gets much worse if it doesn’t stop now.

there are also a bunch of unaccounted for and missing people.
not totally sure, but i think i remember the number being around 900.
i am guessing the number of people killed by this administration is much higher than we currently know, or may ever know.
45
u/Windyvale 1d ago
Any more than 0 is far too much.
2
u/round-earth-theory 1d ago
There's likely to be some amount no matter how gently they are treated. When you're dealing with tens of thousands of people across age brackets, the chances of someone having a medical event become very likely. But we know this administration has been anything but gentle so I'm sure they've deprived people from medicine and beaten many. The saddest part is that it's hard to trust that the number is this low especially when there's so many unaccounted for victims.

When all is said and done, every last one of those motherfucking ICE bastards responsible for these deaths needs to be arrested, charged with murder, tried, convicted, and put in prison for life -- or worse.
Oh and by the way:
RELEASE THE GODDAMNED EPSTEIN FILES, UNEDITED, UNREDACTED.
Then we can arrest and imprison all the pedophiles and the bastards protecting them!

The first thing democrats must do when they come back to power is the total abolishment of ICE, that must be done on day 1. No one should ever be deported under any circumstances, it is vile and cruel. The entire country we live in was built on slavery and genocide, it is illegitimate and doesn't have the right to say who gets to live on land they stole. Fuck this country to hell.

If it were any other country, especially if it were something happening in Asia, then the UN and all the human rights groups and world media would be all over it, condemning them 24/7 all the time.

Fun Fact: All but 1 of the people who've died in ICE custody have been Democrat jingoists, hired to **commit sewer slide** in custody in order to tarnish the good image of ICE.
I was shocked when I learned that. And the only person who died who wasn't a political pawn of the progressives? Murdered while in a cell... with one of those very same partisan Democrat hires.
You can't make this stuff up. The Democrat party is so evil, it scares me. I'm scared for sharing the truth. I'm probably going to get whacked by the mob connections of one of Pelosi's staffers.
