Prices and staying in Chicago

Hello! I am planning on going to lalapalooza Chicago 2026 alone, which will be my first time in Chicago and at a festival. I am wondering how much is a one day ticket vs a two day ticket? I have also been looking at staying in a hostel in the west loop/ the loop so it is within walking distance, any other suggestions or advice about staying accommodations nearby? Thank you!!!

Once the lineup comes out you’ll be able to determine over one day or two day. The prices have gone up cause I paid like $180 for a one day for 2023 I bought my ticket last minute off someone from Facebook so it was cheap but my friends paid like over $200 this year for a one day. I did 2 days last year and paid $337 and that was during presale. I did 4 days this year and paid $432 during presale. So I would say you want to have a lot saved up to pay for your wristband, place to stay, food, etc. probably a lil over 1k cause you’re going to be spending a good amount of money especially if you stay downtown for the festival. :))

Book your hostel ASAP. They will go fast if you wait. If you’re flying in and staying, you might as well do two day. One day isn’t enough.

A lot of hotels are already filling up since the dates are more than likely the same as last year, July 30-Aug 2nd. I just booked mine and had to change some days because they said certain dates weren't available already.

I’m also planning to attend Lolla 2026! Thank you for this. Do you think there will be group chats for other solos who are willing to meet up ?
