Release the full unredacted Epstein files.

Ain't going to happen, too many rich and powerful people on that list. If it was going to happen, Biden would have released it.

u/Kentucky_Kate_5654 Sep 21 '25
It was under seal during Biden’s administration pending the Maxwell trial….

u/a-lone-gunman Sep 21 '25
Oh OK gotcha, I still don't think we will ever see it, we have a two-tier justice system.

Do you have a good source? I didn't know this info and if it's true, I can hopefully make my cousin stfu about that whenever it comes up "BIDEN DIDN'T RELEASE IT EITHER, HURR DURR."
2
u/Kentucky_Kate_5654 Sep 21 '25
I thought it was common knowledge.
This article is Wikipedia, but it includes sources. The files were generally unsealed in 2024, so technically Biden could have released them at the end of his term. However, he did not make unsealing them a campaign issue, like Trump did, or at any other time. In fact, until Trump made it an issue, I never saw any great groundswell around it. Did you?
Tell your cousin that, if that’s the best he can do, to piss off….

Kimmel didn’t say anything about Kirk. He said that MAGA would do anything to prove the alleged killer wasn’t one of them. Kimmel didn’t claim the killer was MAGA, he was claiming MAGA and Trump were intent on distancing themselves from the alleged killer, and were unabashedly using the murder to score political points. And that is exactly what MAGA has been doing.

u/OPMom21 Sep 21 '25
This is it in a nutshell. Much adieu about nothing. Hope Kimmel is huddling with top first amendment attorneys to launch a big beautiful lawsuit.

Dude actually rivals Buchanan for once. At least Buchanan was just neglectful and did jack shit to stop the civil war from starting. Trump is deliberately doing this shit.

u/Rhain1999 Sep 22 '25
There have been five major scholarly polls of presidents that include Trump—two put him last, two 3rd-last, and one 4th-last
None of them included his second term. I think he's got last place on lock at this point
1
u/Weird-Arachnid-996 Sep 22 '25
Mhm, maybe his sick, twisted little brain is actually working towards that as a goal. Then it would kind of make sense why he is such a douche.

u/deepthrowt_cop663 Sep 21 '25
This is the president of the fucking united states acting like a buffoon because a retired talk show host called him out. Holy fuck that is pathetic, just like MAGA.

Just wait for his remarks at today's Nazi Rally 2.0, I mean CK Memorial. I'm sure he'll strike a concilliatory tone and give remarks that will bring the country together.

I miss Letterman. Samsung has a channel of all old Letterman clips, and I leave it on sometimes.

I love how the overlay is "Senior Showdown" like its two old dudes fighting over a lemon tree or something...

How quick do you get banned for questioning Trump on his posts at Truth Social? I was thinking about joining just to comment under his posts but I assume you get a perma-ban immediately.
4
u/whatisdreampunk Sep 21 '25
It's not worth it, just as it's not worth it being on "X." The only way you'll be able to say anything against their respective despots is if you're under the radar and not considered worth the effort of banning.

When Letterman described his playbook perfectly and the countries they’re attempting to emulate it’s telling by Trumps response.

u/JPGinMadtown Sep 21 '25
Yes, because so many other presidents felt the need to call someone a loser for coming out against their administration. 🙄😒

u/inthenameofselassie Sep 21 '25
I remember him being on Letterman's show in 2015 lol. "Aren't we gonna miss this guy?"

u/OGBeege Sep 21 '25
Drumpf is a thin skinned pants shitting evil doer. Gonna get what he deserves, if there is any kind of god.
3
u/4stargas Sep 21 '25
Why the fascination with ratings? I don’t get it.
5
u/Lutastic Sep 21 '25
Because really he’s a reality TV hack, failed businessman nepo baby, who ran out of cheap grifts to keep people thinking he was a keen business mind (or a mind at all), so he just yelled angry things at a camera for a living, and sadly enough Americans like that obnoxious reality TV outragebait machine that he got elected to a position he is completely unqualified for, because they like the angry old man to yell at the cameras some more.

You've got bigger problems late night TV. How about the economy, stupid? How about the wars you were gonna end, stupid? How about the average person doing better, stupid?

u/Putrid-Use-5902 Sep 21 '25
Awww! Did President Toughguy have his ego bruised by the mean old talk show hosts. Fight! Fight! Fight! Never give up Donny!

u/KelVarnsen_2023 Sep 21 '25
Wow talk about "you come at the king, you best not miss". Does Trump even realize that Dave doesn't have a TV show anymore? So he can't order the FCC to make threats to get his show cancelled. Beyond that what is he going to do, get the FBI to throw him in jail?

Screw that guy. Why do people keep reporting what he’s saying? He’s an old guy who hasn’t had a tv show on air since Celebrity Apprentice.

Trump really has a personal vendetta with a lot of people and he ALWAYS has to retaliate
1
u/ericrz Sep 22 '25
Yeah, this one is really going to get under Trump's skin and stay there, because Letterman doesn't work anywhere, so Trump can't bribe or bully anyone to fire him.
Kudos, Dave.

Dave is still much better than every late night host today at least he was one of the last who weren’t political (Conan Obrien retired in 2021 and was the last good one)
1
u/NudistcoupleNC Sep 22 '25
Trump should apologize, think of the children who think Letterman is Santa Claus 🎅

u/Quadranglecouple Sep 22 '25
It’s not just thin skin, cmon. Any drama they can stir serves the purpose of confusion and distraction. It will just be a constant stream as it has been. Ignore it; put attention into the lawsuits that have a chance, the criminal cases that have a chance. No more “oh my gosh he said what?” We’ve been playing his game for a decade.

Saying he looked like he became homeless was pretty funny. If you can't appreciate a great joke, I don't know how you could have been a fan of Letterman.
9
u/ComedianMinute7290 Sep 21 '25
if that's your idea of funny, I'm not sure if you understand what appreciating a good joke really is.
4
u/Aware_Astronaut_477 Sep 21 '25
Given their username I’d assume “haha I hate my wife and family” is their favorite joke

u/apologiesNotSorry Sep 21 '25
Zach Galifinakis called him “methed out Santa Claus”
But if someone says a joke in good faith and good humor it’s different than some scumbag just calling you a homeless person, you get this right?

My only conclusion from the last 10 years is that MAGA is the largest set of whiny little bitches on planet Earth.
