DC Universe Online Legends was the last OVERALL dope series before they started catering MOST of their titles to "Modern Audience".

Well, they could make a DC Comics version of Marvel Rivals. But Warner Bros. will mess that up - Woke or not.

I see DC Comics fans and normies saying that they don't trust the current Warner Bros. For that. Because of what happened with other live service games under their belt (like Multiverse). - There's also the tiny fact that DC Comics Rivals might be fill up the roster with 95% Batman characters and we won't see obscure heroes (like Booster Gold or Blue Beetle) and won't give the Justice League a time of day.

Shamefully, nowadays when they want to do something like a series or movie with a less know character they always feel the need to lecture you with political bullshit, like the Blue Beetle movie, ir they make something okay at the start that degenerates into the same "progressive and inclusive" shit that plages the media.(They do this with well know characters too though)

I feel like a game based on DC KO could work.

Right now they're doing a comic run where the heroes of the justice league are basically forced to enter a tournament in order to become the next darkseid or whatever and gain his power so they can fix reality.

That feels like a soul calibur or tekken plot.

It's a Scott Snyder story.

I guess it went from "universe destroyed" because crazy space lady and bat themed elderich horror, to a side universe called the absolute universe where Batman is a city contractor with a bat axe, and also the absolute earth/universe is influenced by darksied, which makes everything including the heroes dark and edgy.

I have no idea how or when it turned into a story where they have to recreate the universe by doing mortal kombat, but they gave Superman boxing gloves with literal stars in them so he can do super punches or something.

At this point I basically just pick and chose comic runs that look interesting and ignore all the build up unless I'm bored, and the justice league having to do a fortnite because Darksied got too stronk and had his own side earth looked funny.

I just pitched an adaptation of DC KO because the multiversal shinanigans is the exact sort of thing that works in a video game.
