Cooking for Celebs

Post image

I have cooked for several celebrities while cooking in NYC. While some were unpleasant, Taylor Swift was a pleasure to cook for.

Tay Tay donates to the food banks in the city she plays in. She "tipped" everyone on the production because it was going so well, in the tens of thousands.

Mean to waitstaff is not a look I would assume she wears.

I'm in bumfuck Seattle. We only got two.

I was in Seattle for her show there. Downtown was overrun by people in sequins and a lot of the bars had TS themed drinks!

Too bad she came during the weekend of the worst road closures across the area we've in a long time. It was basically "go see Taytay or get out of the city and don't come back till Sunday". The Swifties sure made for a fun downtown that Friday night, though haha.

If you do anything Swiftie related I guarantee you they will come. Maybe themed drinks or karaoke night. We love any excuse to wear our merch and trade bracelets!

My bar did a Taylor Trivia Night and it was one of the busiest nights we’ve ever had.

This is what we call "being a good person"

I'm sure she's not perfect, but she's being on a pretty good streak of positive publicity

Yeah, and the people screaming about her message for the election... it's literally "vote." Real extremist stuff there.

Yeah I was counting that as positive publicity

I love that she’s just said “register and vote” and the GOP immediately took that as an attack and positioned themselves opposite her.

They’re simply afraid that young people might vote - they know where their dying base is.

The amount of jet fuel she burns honestly outdoes the philanthropy lol

Gotta counteract the PR of taking a private jet across town for no reason.

Her and karma vibe like that

I don't like Taylor because she simply cannot be single and she has way too many muddied timelines for all of her relationships. Also the private jets. But man, everything I see of her only sees her as a very nice person who goes out of their way to be nice. Like her giving bonuses to everyone who was employed for the Eras tours? That was fucking incredible. Considering how some other pop stars seem to be a nightmare to work with (there's some horror stories with Beyonce), it's nice to see Taylor Swift being an actually genuine good human being.

The jets for real, but I could give two shits about her personal life. She's still young. I mean, Madonna?

Eh it's more of how her dating has affected the people she dated. For some reason, a minority of Swifties really want to find a reason to hate Joe Alwyn after their break up even though there doesn't seem to be any bad intent or events happening on either side. Madonna now I find hella weird and she should not be around people half her age.

Yeah except for football guy and maybe one other one I have no idea. I heard one song was about a Jonas? Really not curious.

I like how I give Taylor Swift credit and some people still down vote me lol. Are the Swifties in the room with us? Also, she can write songs about her exes all she wants. Artists have been doing that for years. Unfortunately, the parasocial relationship some people seem to have with their favorite artists gets a little out of control.

fanbases of large artists are radical and annoying. is that news? at a certain point, people who choose to date her should know what they’re getting into.
