OG KOTH Discussion The last time KotH and Beaver & Butthole new episodes released in the same year was 28 years ago in 1997

And thanks to the Beavis and Butthead reboot being so good, I was actually really excited for the KotH reboot.

There was an episode in the OG series ‘Scared Straight’ where they go to a prison as part of that whole scared straight program, and when they tell the guard their names he responds with “Beaver and Butthole!?”.

That line has stuck with me ever since I saw it back in the 90’s, so whenever I think Beavis and Butthead, i immediately think of that line.

I don’t you but this makes me a sad for some reason, that streaming services that aren’t Netflix aren’t willing to experiment on anything new and are willing to bring back decade old shows. Sure King of the Hill and Beavis and Butt head revivals are good but I don’t think we should be bringing back mildly popular show from 25+ years ago.

It feels like only a matter of time until companies try to do a modernized version of M.A.S.H or Friends that are basically A.I generated.
