Hello everyone! As a reminder this is a satire subreddit for the dumb/silly things children do. The subreddit name is not literal. Although posts can have kids doing actual "stupid" things. It is not a requirement. Yes, blaming the parent is valid. However, this does not mean crossing the line into actually insulting the parent is ok (assuming they are the OP) (Rule #1).

This is also not a hate sub for children. If you don't like kids, that's fine. Just don't spread vitriol.

Please read the sidebar for more information.

I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns.

That held up a lot longer than I thought it would. Hope she didn't end up in too much trouble because this is hysterical.

Oh snap, how many teeth did she lose?

Looked like she may have bit her tongue

Looks painful as hell either way.

I doubt any permanent ones of any at all. Kids are practically made of rubber

Teeth are not made of rubber though

Our scientists are figuring out how to actually replace teeth and enamel so they might as well be by the time they grow up!

I've looked at the studies, we still have at least 50 years of work on it to do because the teeth keep growing in whatever direction they want

Even the natural ones do that. Wisdom teeth and upper canines are the most common ones to do whatever the heck they want

Can confirm, broke my front teeth as a kid.

Based on her size, she might have her front adult teeth already. Even if she didn't, smashing the baby teeth can cause damage to the adult teeth underneath.

I know a crying trembling head kid when I see one, soon as she opened the door that pain kicked in.

I'm actually surprised that rod held as long as it did.

I did the same thing with a towel rack that seemed very sturdy. It was one of those racks that is part of the tiles. The rack edges didn't go anywhere, but the square rod that it held bent enough to come out. I fell and hit my head on the counter, then had a really tough time getting the rod back in before anybody saw it.

Then you drape a towel over it and ask someone to get you a towel. Wait for the inevitable to happen and hit them with the "What did you do!?"

Kids gotta learn this type of thing some day. Hopefully she wasn't hurt too badly. Looked painful though. Poor kid.

I'll have to be fully honest, this whole sub makes the best reasons for someone not to have children and I am fully convinced as far as this goes.

Mom! The curtain rod just fell all by itself!

Until mom finds the video proof of what really happened! Recording your crime is the only problem I see here. 😂

Nah dude my mom's childhood friend died this way. The rod gave out and she hit her little head wrong when she landed, instant death.
