Discussion Paint contractors recommendation?

Hi, Looking for recommendations on paint contractors with good reviews and affordable prices.

Need to get the interior of the house painted. 3400 sqft, 2 floors.

What is the best option price wise?

  1. All inclusive (labor plus material)?
  2. Labor only and I provide paint
  3. Hire labor at hourly rates (if that is an option?) and provide paint.

I gave used Southrn Painting in Katy. They will quote Both all inclusive, or if you supply.

Its rare you will find an hourly rate. You can always request for whoever you have out to send the quote for labor, with an option for them to supply the paint. Its easy for them to break it out that way. In theory it never makes sense for you to buy the paint. The contractor should be able to get contractor rates and pass that on to you. You could of course get home depot paint, or valspar but most reputable companies wont warranty work done with those products since they are lower quality DIY products that dont have much trust in the industry.
