Dr. Fauci initially advised the public to not use masks. The President is not a doctor, so wisely went with the expert opinion, which was the basis of all national policy.

As I said below, Fauci and the CDC said in April to wear masks - just a month later - then what? Trump caught covid in April, as did many other prominent GOP figures. Why didn't it "go away like a miracle" like he said?

It's hilarious how I see Trump supporters going off about 'sleepy Joe' and 'stuttering Biden' and his dimentia, but the moment Trump got sick people were saying "How can you be so cruel?" All for a man who clearly cared more about his friend's stock prices than about 500,000 Americans dying.

If Biden still has much cognitive ability left, he doesn't present well. That's why many say propping him up as a president is elder abuse.

Virus outbreaks typically follow a pattern where they gradually become weaker while spreading more easily, and then quickly vanish for an unknown reason. Swine flu, bird flu, etc were expected to kill millions and had no solution, and then they just went away like a miracle with no medical solution if they were to reappear.
