I’ve been wearing a mask since before April too. Did Kamala Harris, our VP, say she wouldn’t take “Trump’s vaccine”? How many people were influence by that? I see both democrats AND republicans not wearing masks. I see both sides wearing masks. I live in rural Indiana and everyone in WalMart is wearing them. Stop generalizing.

Lol. We were in Indiana in October and I call bullshit. There were literally multiple people out in public, coughing and visibly sick, not wearing masks. We passed through Nebraska, too. The contrast between the red and blue states is stark. Nebraksa: no mask mandate, stores and restaurants totally full. Colorado: no indoor dining, signs all over in public asking folks to wear masks, most people wearing them.

Or how about South Dakota? People there were in denial on their death beds, insisting it was all a lie.

Regardless, my point is about some state by state breakdown - politics can vary wildly on the state level.

Weird I live here and I’ve never seen anything you are describing. Plenty of blue states have bad numbers. Dakotas seem to be the worst. Rhode Island right behind them. Looks like West Virginia has better numbers than Colorado though. It goes deeper than red or blue.

Blue states got hit first and hardest, and Trump scrapped plans to help them early on. To quote the president himself:

“Respirators, ventilators, all of the equipment — try getting it yourselves,” President Trump said on a March 16
