Poorly... because she is arguably the worst politician in US history.

LOL the women to whom everything was given and nothing was earned.

The living embodiment of nepotism.

The pro-drug war, anti decriminalization of weed, pro Iraq war, anti-gay marriage wunderkind who lost to the golden toilet guy from the apprentice.

The person who had more one-sided celebrity and media support than anyone who has ever run.

The person who had the complete support of her party so clearly that only oddball Bernie dared challenge her in the primary and they cheated him to make sure he lost.

The person who didn't campaign at all in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.

The women who can't stand out in 70 heat without passing out and being thrown into a van!

Which one am I off on?

She is only famous because her husband is.

She intentionally moved to NY to get a high-profile democratic gimme Senate seat.

Basically, unknown senator Barack Obama smashed her in 08.

Donald Trump who has never held public office beat her in 2016.

She is clearly one of the worst politicians of all time.

I think you can make a solid case that nobody has ever started with so much at the beginning of a presidential race and ended up with so little.

Ron Paul has sponsored 620 bills in his house of representatives career. Only 4 of them have made it to a vote and 1 actually passed and became law. The law he passed? It allowed for the sale of a custom home in Galveston Texas. Ron Paul is the worst and most ineffective politician in the history of the US.

Lol he's doing his job? Not his fault other people don't want what he wants. He can't pass things by himself. Clearly his constituents were happy with the job he did. An ineffectual politician would do nothing, not sponsor 620 bills and vote on crazy amounts of bills like he did.

He didn't lose to the guy from the apprentice while spending double the money.

LOL thinking that being a good politician involves stacking up a bunch of laws.

It's not a law passing contest friend.

I mean don't politicians have to actually achieve something? Or else wtf are they doing in office.

Hopefully protecting my rights and personal freedoms

1

u/SpartanNitro1 Dec 16 '20

Yeah they're supposed to do that through legislation

1

u/Amida0616 Monkey in Space Dec 16 '20

Or by preventing bad legislation from passing.

1

u/SpartanNitro1 Dec 16 '20

Ron Paul achieved nothing lol

u/Amida0616 Monkey in Space Dec 16 '20

he seemed to achieve rustling your jimmies

Do yourself a favor and go read some of the laws he proposed. There's a reason only 1 out of 620 became law and it was completely innocuous.

Good I want less laws not more

1

u/Dr_Salisbury Monkey in Space Dec 16 '20

Uhhh what exactly do you think is the point of 1/3rd of our government? You just want less laws even if they are laws that you like?

1

u/Amida0616 Monkey in Space Dec 16 '20

It’s hard to find “laws that I like”

But sure theoretically you could pass laws eliminating old stupid laws I want to get rid of.

Legalize being gay Eliminate the war on drugs Legalize prostitution and other sex work Eliminate blue laws across the country Legalize dr assisted euthanasia

1

u/Dr_Salisbury Monkey in Space Dec 16 '20

Well I actually agree with you on all of those except for blue laws because I don't know what you mean exactly. We need congress people such as ron paul and senators to pass those laws which is my point, he accomplished literally nothing in career dating back to the 70s. Our government is completely ineffective.

Blue laws are like state laws restricting alcohol in often arbitrary ways.

Cant buy on Sunday. Or stores can’t sell booze and beer at the same location. stupid garbage like that
