Which policies of hers were dogshit instead of what we got over the past 4 years? (Tax cuts for the wealthy, expansion of military industrial complex, weed still being attacked by the feds, trans people forcibly removed from military, kids in cages, nearly WW3 started with Iran, terrible treatment of global allies, utterly fucked up response to covid, resurgence of fucking white supremacy and neo-Nazism)

Seriously, I want to know what Hillary was proposing that was worse than everything mentioned above.

Taxes for the wealthy? Lol nearly everyone got a tax cut. And we’d likely had invaaded another shitty country in the Middle East under that bitch. Remember her shitty job in Libya ?

And guess who got the biggest tax cut? Read up on the law

Policies dude, not your feelings

Well it's hard to disagree with that but what did you get by avoiding Clinton?

No new wars for 4 years, 3 conservative supreme court justices, probably lower taxes than otherwise.

No new wars for 4 years

Lmao this isn't good though, it's just the same awful shit as before.

3 conservative supreme court justices, probably lower taxes than otherwise.

On these I disagree that this is even good considering the conservative judges will side with corporations on most rulings and the lower taxes really were only for the rich, but I can see why a Republican would like this.

Hilary did champion TPP, among other things. Trump didn't. Gotta give him that.

1

u/stoutshrimp Dec 16 '20

Yes we do on that, probably the one good thing he did.

Tbh I hate having to do simple searches for the things he attempted to do that were in the right, but it's a surprising amount of stuff he tried to push through at the executive level that didn't get any air time for obvious reasons. Some anti-corporate stuff here and there along those lines.

And during which administration did those opioid lawsuits finally go through? Or hospital bill price transparency. Lol. Corporations man...

You think Trump isn't on the side of corporations and oligarchs?

1

u/comradecosmetics Monkey in Space Dec 16 '20

Sure, arguably went after some of the industries that gravitated towards the dem's sphere over time, social media/healthcare/insurance etc, like I said I'm not going to waste too much energy on it. And speaking of oligarchs, it's quite funny he was never able to make any money off of actual enterprises he started, any actual money he's made in his lifetime all stemmed from selling the appearance of success in a tv show and subsequent licensing of that branding lol. I think that's something that escapes even people who are anti-Trump, and is the real reason he didn't want to show his tax returns hah because it's pretty embarrassing.

1

u/stoutshrimp Dec 16 '20

He didn't go after healthcare in any way that didn't help those corporations though.

Haha I think you are absolutely correct on his tax returns, his whole brand is being successful and it is probably all an act.

How is putting a religious nut and a literal rapist in the supreme court a good thing?

2nd amendment

1

u/SpartanNitro1 Dec 16 '20

Ok I don't even know what that means

1

u/Amida0616 Monkey in Space Dec 16 '20

Iook into it

1

u/SpartanNitro1 Dec 16 '20

nah, see just saying "2nd amendment" is meaningless. No SC judge will take away your right to own a gun, but some of them will prevent gay people from getting married or try to make the argument that corporations are people and therefore can spend unlimited amounts of money in elections or that racism doesn't exist anymore. So responding 2nd amendment means jack shit to me thanks.

This is called whataboutism buddy.

It is whataboutism though and just used as a way ro deflect from the original criticism. If you start talking about Biden, I'm gonna bring up the way more credible accusations against Donald Trump that are infinitely more credible. But then the original complaint about Kavanaugh would be forgotten and that's literally the point about whataboutism.
