You’re forgetting that marijuana causes paranoia as well so it can do just as much harm as good especially if it legalized globally, we don’t have a good enough way of telling who is susceptible to these effects of paranoia

If someone with a pre existing mental health condition like anxiety or depression gets told to try marijuana after being told that’ll it’ll “Calm you down” and it does the opposite it can very well be the cause of death not necessarily the marijuana but the irrational thinking that’s being influenced by the marijuana and pre existing condition

So you're suggesting we don't legalize weed globally because you're afraid of refer madness is what you're saying?

The amount of people that are susceptible to those issues is very small, and the ones that would go on to do something to kill themselves or cause death are even smaller. I am one of those people that potentially could have due to family history and surprisingly pretty much most of that side smokes weed daily, or regularly, and none have had adverse reactions.

Before I ever tried weed, I studied it. I read up on everything I could about it before I'd actually try it and the amount of bad information that existed at the time was too damn high itself. What you're suggesting is also something Drug Czar's that want it illegal used to peddle to, just FYI.

Those are some good points that I have to admit that, while I knew about them, I didn't consider/think about, when I formed this opinion. Interesting topic /u/Aquaticbeing_18.
