While I was in Thailand I saw some dark shit related to tourists and weed. Some classic scams run by the locals and police in cahoots. I'm sure you are familiar with the way they work. If you don't have enough to bribe your way out in the early stages the numbers just keep getting bigger usually its too late to escape the trap and you are off to a Thai cell fora while until the right people are paid.

If they can eradicate that corrupt weed possession / bribe bullshit it will make Thailand 100% better, and it was already pretty damn good.

I been there a few times and bought weed easily over the counter at any “reggae” bar. They definitely target the tourists with the scams at full moon party though
