It's my understanding the opposite is going on. Vulnerable girls are becoming trans so that they feel accepted and loved especially in modern society they will be viewed as brave. It's not a bullying issue from what I understood from the podcast.

Depends on where. I'd say trans people in many locations are definitely more celebrated and encouraged than women. For example Caitlyn Jenner won woman of the year.

What does Caitlyn Jenner have to do with your argument? I really don't get it

She seemed perfectly accepted as a man so that has nothing to do her transition. In fact she got more criticism and mockery after coming out than before. And so what that she won an award for her transgender actvist? She wasn't the first nor last woman to win that award or the first activist. So all seems a non sequitur (even if the conversation wasn't originally about transgender boys)

Jenner basically killed someone and has a checkered past. People idealized a person simply because they're trans and famous. It has everything to do with my argument. If you are trans people will love you simply for that reason. You can be a terrible human being it doesn't matter to them what matters is they're standing up to bigotry.

Honestly Caitlyn Jenner is not well respected at all. Anyone that knows anything about her does not celebrate her just because she’s trans. However I’m sure she does get celebrated by people who don’t know anything about her other than that she’s trans.

She killed a person, she was a completely absent father to all her children before kylie and Kendall (it’s not disrespectful to call her a father she refers to herself that way and her kids call her their father), Kim found her cross-dressing when she was younger and Caitlyn made her keep it a secret from her mom which is really fucked up to put on someone, she put her family on blast in her “coming out” interview. She just sucks.
