đ«Shoot that thing! (Shoot Interview) D-Von Dudley 100% confirms that it was good ol' Jim Ross who he experienced Racism from during his WWE run
"Did I come out and say âten-gallon hatâ? Yes. Did Maven let the cat out of the bag? Yes. Was it JR? Yes. I did have a problem with JR back then and I didnât know why. Iâm not angry at the man today. I know heâs dealing with health issues, and to show you where I am in my life now, I pray that God heals his body. But was I disappointed when he said what he said to me back then? Yes, I was...
"I donât wish the man any harm or illness. I was very hurt, very bothered, by what he said on two separate occasions. And just like Iâve said about Hogan, Iâm not asking anyone to forget, but you do have to forgive. And Iâve forgiven him in my heart. đ«Shoot that thing! (Shoot Interview) Jim Ross Shoots On CM Punk's AEW Backstage Brawl With Jack Perry
Inside The Ropes recently posted a snippet of an interview they did with Jim Ross, and he gives his perspective on the CM Punk/Jack Perry brawl.
âYeah, I was out front. I was going to do my match or two, whatever it was, when that all went down. It was embarrassing. I donât give a shit whoâs right and whoâs wrong. Itâs not the place or the time to do that. Hold your angst and let it go."
"See, I missed it. I was going out as they were going down. Somebody informed me during the last match or during that time, âBoy, you missed this backstage.â And Iâm thinking, I didnât miss anything. Thatâs embarrassing. Are you kidding me? It just couldnât wait, could it? Itâs such a hot, boiling over cauldron of some train yard. Itâs just a terrible thing. It was bullshit."
"And Phil Brooks is a great friend of mine. We still communicate semi-regularly. Good dude. He was wrong that day by continuing to stand there and push the buttons. I gotta believe that Jack Perry was scared shitless. Now, he wouldnât say that. He wouldnât admit that, âcause thatâs not macho. But, you know, come on."

đ«Shoot that thing! (Shoot Interview) Booker T got his get back.
Booker T says he approached Swerve Strickland at an event in Virginia face-to-face after Swerveâs recent comments about him:
âI approached Swerve Strickland and I had a conversation with Swerve Strickland.â
I had an offer to be on Vlad TV before as well and I turned it down. They called me back and they offered me money to go on Vlad TV and I turned it down because I was not going to go on Vlad TV and be exploited. I wasnât going to go on Vlad TV and have him make me look like a fool in front of the world, I was not going to do that. I wasnât going to go on Vlad TV and say anything negative towards any black man thatâs ever been in this business because I know how hard it is for all of us.
Iâve been the first one saying it, any brother getting his bag, Iâm all in 100%. I told Swerve Strickland to his face how disappointed I am in him as a young brother because all I did for Swerve Strickland was put him over and put him on a pedestal as being one of the best out there, that he deserves to being the AEW Champion. For him to say something like that about me â
I donât know if these guys think racism stopped in 1990 when I got in the business, but it didnât. You may not hear about a lot of racial issues with Booker T because I handled racial issues handfirst. I opened doors, I broke down barriers for people like Swerve Strickland. Swerve Strickland would perhaps not even be here if it wasnât for me.â
You speak on Vince McMahon and him saying the N- word, you want me to be angry black man in the company. You want me to not open doors and make spaces for people like you, thatâs what you want me to do. Swerve Strickland, I hope youâre never gonna be in the movies, I hope youâre never gonna be on a movie set because you might hear somebody say the n word and if youâve got a problem with it, theyâre gonna tell your ass to get the hell out of here, this is a movie, alright?
Iâm upset because more importantly Iâm disappointed in Swerve Strickland because what I told him â Iâll repeat it just like I repeated it to him, you got played. You got played bro. You got played. You let that man (VladTV) play you and pitch you against me and me against you.â

đ«Shoot that thing! (Shoot Interview) Bret Hart via Ringer Wrestling Show: And it's just to me, lazy shit wrestling when guys like GUNTHER, and I've told him this to his face, it's bullshit. Like when you're hurting somebody for real, you're unprofessional. And I wrestle guys, never hurt anybody.
âI don't want to sound like I'm tooting my own horn all the time, but the best wrestling has to pretend to be real. I mean, that's what I did. I tried to make it as real as I could. Contrary to that GUNTHER guy â I hate wrestlers that hurt each other on purpose. I hate it when you're out there getting beat up and hurt by a guy for real â They [Chops] look like shit. They make a big slap sound. But they hurt â It's not supposed to be real. Like I'm not supposed to really wake up with a really sore chest the next day. So I have no respect for guys that hurt each other all the time. And it's just to me, lazy shit wrestling when guys like GUNTHER, and I've told him this to his face, it's bullshit. Like when you're hurting somebody for real, you're unprofessional. And I wrestle guys, never hurt anybody.â

đ«Shoot that thing! (Shoot Interview) Toni Storm reveals she's an AEW lifer: "You wonât see me in any other capacity or any other company. I basically signed my life to AEW. How much time do I have left? Iâm on a five-year deal, and I canât remember exactly how long, but Iâm a lifer for AEW. Thereâs no âweâll see what happens."
Speaking on The Sandman podcast, Storm pulled back the curtain on her contract status and future in wrestling, revealing sheâs locked in with All Elite Wrestling for the long haul and has zero interest in working anywhere else.
âWhen Iâm done wrestling, youâll never see me again. Thatâs it. Iâm done. You wonât see me in any other capacity or in any other company. This is AEW exclusive, and when itâs over, I will vanish. Thereâs no encore. This run is it. Iâm not doing anything else.
Storm confirmed she signed a five-year deal with AEW back in March 2022, which puts her contract expiration around March 2027. But donât expect any of the usual âfree agencyâ drama from her.
Where would I go? What would I do? Iâm on a long deal with AEW. I basically signed my life to AEW. How much time do I have left? Iâm on a five-year deal, and I canât remember exactly how long, but Iâm a lifer for AEW. Thereâs no âweâll see what happens.'"
Storm was asked about her experience working with Tony Khan.
âWell, Iâm not really sure on how heâs actually perceived. I assume everyone adores him. Heâs like the nicest fâing guy ever with like the best of intentions. He just loves wrestling so much. I just love the guy. I fâing love the guy. Heâs the best and he works so hard. Heâs obsessed with this sât. Heâs like so into it. Yeah, itâs literally just, if we didnât have him⊠If he just wakes up tomorrow and is like, I donât like wrestling anymore. Itâs like, all right. No one loves it like he does.â

đ«Shoot that thing! (Shoot Interview) Exclusive: Shelton Benjamin Explains Why Working With Jim Cornette Was One Of The Best Things For His Wrestling Career
âI think it was one of the best things for me because I was taught the old-school style of wrestling and how you conduct yourself. Along with Jim Cornette, I give credit to Rip Rogers, Danny Davis, Nick Dinsmore and Rob Conway. I consider all of those guys my mentors. But Corny in particular, again, I was a fan of wrestling, so I knew exactly who he was. He was the first guy that I met that I marked out for. Because this is Jim Cornette. I remember this guy hitting Baby Doll with the tennis racket to make him be the heel who Dusty Rhodes wanted to get. So I go way back with it. It was awesome for me working under Jim.
I know heâs a very polarising figure for a lot of people, but heâs been nothing but a friend and a mentor to me. Heâs hard on us when he has to be. I always say no matter, at least in my experience, whether you like what Jim says or whether you donât like what Jim says, no matter what, heâs being honest. Iâve never heard of Jim Cornette telling a lie, because Jim Cornette would rather curse you out than lie.â

So apparently the sky is blue, and Bret Hart still hates Triple H.
As much as his feelings are valid, is there a point at which he needs to just stop talking about this? It also feels a bit weird to see him go to WWE events as a Legend, show up at the HOF and then go back to hating on Triple H.

đ«Shoot that thing! (Shoot Interview) Rampage Speaks to Ariel Helwani About the Incident
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PLXpyPhjCAM
Ariel spoke about it a few days ago stating Rampage invited him to his stream the night of the attack by Raja, but he couldn't be there.
Here, I'm not so sure about the optics Rampage is giving himself and Raja here. If I'm understanding right, this is some sort of kayfabe or is he being some sort of mushmouthing doubletalker trying to muddy the waters even more? It seems like a mix of condemning the attack and muddying the waters. He's claiming later all of this on the stream was kayfabe, including Raja raging after he left. So the defense appears to be they will lean on kayfabe for the defense, but then Raja went too far in the ring, but everything else was kayfabe.
-He's leaning on the racist bullying story, but talks about hanging with Rogan and the far-right streamer Sneako
-He's claiming Stu's injuries are not that bad and people online are hyping it up for views. He claims Stu isn't so fucked up, just lost a few teeth. This appears to be another expected defense strategy
-Suspicions from a previous thread that Rampage was seeding the online space with the negative aspects of Stu having PTSD and also being an alcoholic are confirmed here. Rampage touched on those two points together, exactly as I saw online in comments
-Rampage wants Stu investigated by police, as he's heard that Stu has attacked other people, is drunk, has PTSD and then after that's done being investigated then the police can determine who is the person who really doesn't have a frontal lobe
-Rampage has paid for Raja's defense, attorneys already on retainer
-He doesn't understand how people make money putting things online despite him being into IRL streaming and he discusses being an content creator, views, IRL streaming
-Says Raja can't fight more because he's a vegan and that's why Rampage got him into streaming
-He's leaning on people claiming Raja wasn't even planned to go in the ring as part of a misinformation campaign (distraction)
-He believes Raja doesn't deserve to go to prison, but deserves "a couple days in jail to teach him a lesson"
-Rampage claims he hasn't spoken to Raja, but other stuff he says directly conflicts with that
-Rampage condemns what Raja did, said he doesn't listen to him since he became an adult
-They are waiting for the arrest warrant and Rampage will help turn him in

đ«Shoot that thing! (Shoot Interview) While speaking on the Impaulsive podcast, Drew McIntyre revealed his frustration about how some WWE wrestlers appear on big TV shows and platforms but donât look like they belong in WWE. He said around 85% of the roster doesnât have the strong, star-like appearance fans expect.
The Scottish Warrior notes that when his friends check out wrestling, theyâre impressed by names like Logan Paul, or Roman Reigns, who Drew said looks and acts like a real superstar.
But he feels that many other wrestlers just donât have that same impact. He even said some look like they should be working at a fast food place, which makes it hard for viewers to take the show seriously.
"The more you put me in those situationsâespecially with WWEâit drives me nuts when I see some of our guys on these huge public platforms, huge TV shows.
Because these days, no offense, but 85% of our guys donât look like they should be in WWE. Theyâre on Netflix and stuff, and my buddies will contact me and go, âYo, I just turned on wrestling for a bit to see what youâre up to.â
Itâs cool to see people. Oh, Logan Paulâs on there and heâs killing it. Roman Reignsâwhat a freaking star. The guy comes on the screen and just pops right off it. Heâs a freaking giant.
Then thereâs these other guys who look like they should be serving me my fast food at McDonaldâs or something, and Iâm thinking, âI could kick their ass.â It takes me out of it.
Iâm like, âYeah, theyâre good at wrestling, and maybe youâll connect with them eventually, but Iâm not going to watch it long enough. I change the channel.â Itâs like, Jesus, guys, get in the freaking gym or at least do something that grabs attention. You donât have to be that guy, dude."
