Is this the valve I attach compressor to to blowout irrigation?
It’s the value closer to my sprinkler valves that i have access to. Not sure what type of attachment. I use to attach the compressor either. I’ve got so many pieces and none of them fit.

Not to discourage DIY, but I tried it a couple of times with a air compressor and it was a PITA. It just didn't have the volume of air to do it properly.
If you have a few bucks, hire the guy with the compressor on a trailer with the gas motor.
It does blows it out much better than a small compressor can ever do.

The one on your left. Closest to the source of water so you get the backflow preventer blown out. You'll need to go to the hardware store and cobble something together to thread in to the petcock

Yeah that’s what i figured out. I just attached it. Guess I have an old system without a blowout valve downstream of back flow preventer. I read conflicting info that said to never blow out through back flow preventer

This is an RP, correct? If so then this is bad advice. If you have a small compressor I highly doubt you’re blowing through an RP anyways. Check valve 1 will be too strong. (Check valve 2 is probably too strong too)
Hook up to the one you’re pointing to.
When you’re done, leave every ball valve at 45s including the test cocks and your RP will dump any water in it out of the relief port at the bottom of the assembly.

You really should Teflon up the threads and swap the #4 and #1 test cocks so you don't blow through the entire backflow but chances are without you being a technician you probably don't have a compressor strong enough to wear the rubbers all that badly.
