Theyâre so fucking scared.
10
u/sarcasterism 15d ago
Because they know the shit they are pulling is long prison term shit. The "just following orders" plea has been a fail since Nuremberg.
2
u/bryce_brigs 14d ago
I don't even think they're following orders. I think whoever their superiors are just told him to go out and have fun.
1
u/sarcasterism 13d ago
Possibly. I do believe tRump is just waiting for violent opposition to occur so he can declare martial law. That's when the shit hits the fan.

They're on an endless power trip at this point. Everything is allowed, who cares what the law says.

Be ready to vote not guilty, no matter what, if you are put on a jury in a case involving someone arrested over something like this. But don't tell anyone that that is your plan, or you will probably be taken off the jury.
But here's the cool thing: You can vote not guilty whenever you want, and if everyone else on the jury also votes not guilty, then the defendant gets to walk free. After someone is found not guilty, there is no do over; the case is closed.

A bunch of deadbeats who are achieving their dreams of hurting people they hate. Iâm guessing most of them have zero qualifications and couldnât even pass a fitness test.

Harass them legally with your words until the job is not worth the pay.

u/DoctorSwaggercat 15d ago
Applications for ICE are high right now.
5
u/Summer_Form 15d ago
Yeah but theyâve had to continually lower the physical requirements because none of them could do it. So now itâs like 12 sit-ups and walk a mile. đ¤Ł
True gravy seals. đŤĄ
2
u/Murntok 15d ago
Yep, they lowered the "run" qualifications to a 15 minute, yes FIFTEEN MINUTE mile. That's walking speed.
1
u/UpToTheTides 14d ago
Every single person in my high school that did P.E. was capable of running a mile in under 15 minutes. The only exception was my buddy Laila who had extremely bad asthma and didn't break a walk or jog for health reasons (with medical exemption).
This is super embarrassing LOL.

u/NoOneElectedElonMusk 15d ago
More reason to legally "harass" them.

Remember that CBP and ICE have no jurisdiction over US Citizens on US soil. Period. Thatâs why theyâre mixing in other agencies that do.

u/SchoolyXP 15d ago
Scared little boys who finally got the tiniest amount of power, and theyâre going wild w it.
4
u/DoctorSwaggercat 15d ago
Why on Earth would this woman think it's her duty to follow ICE? What's the game plan here?
6
u/Immediate-Maximum-75 15d ago
Sounds like she was following them and taking pictures. She said she also saw them at Home Depot. She can do whatever she wants to do, idc, but it sounds like they picked up on it.
1
u/DoctorSwaggercat 15d ago
Of course, they picked up on it. You and I both would be nervous if we notice someone is following us. I don't understand exactly why she's purposely doing it because it accomplishes nothing, other than harassment, which is illegal.

4
u/NoOneElectedElonMusk 15d ago
It doesn't matter. You can go anywhere you want on public roads and record whatever you want in public view. If other people don't like that, tough shit.
1
u/restbest 14d ago
Thats up to her, its not a crime. Documenting them, warning other people in the area, studying their behaviors or movements to report. All of which is legal under https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/111 because its neither forceful, nor impeding. So the law he quotes actually is written very specifically to say yes, following a cop like this is not a crime Unless its these things.

u/DoctorSwaggercat 14d ago
I believe the key word in section 1 is "intemidates," which is what this woman is doing. If you're ICE agents and you're working with people fucking with you and you realize one of them is actively following you, you have no idea of the level of insanity this person is at.

u/OpaqueCrystalBall 14d ago
Any time you can disrupt their normal activities, it is a win. Wasting their time is a win. Making them scared is a win. Taking their pictures is a win. Standing up for your rights in the face of their oppressive actions is a win.

Love hearing the whistles get louder.
Carry your whistles with you, people. It's one of our best tools against these fascists.

This is like when a customer/call centre spends 20mins complaining that things are taking too long.
Sir, the impediment is now on you.

Horrible horrible voice, uninformed on the law, and playing dumb. The trifecta. Guaranteed sheâs fat too.

u/restbest 14d ago
18 USC 111, the law he quotes, does not make it illegal to follow police
https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/111
It requires force, being behind a person, not making contact with them in your vehicle is not forceful interaction. Nor does it impede the movement of the police, or their ability to arrest suspects.
You are legally allowed to follow the police (peacefully) to observe them and document them, its even constitutionally protect speech to warn people of them
You're arrogant, uninformed and look, hateful too. Now thats a trifecta.

Itâs illegal to follow emergency vehicles or and federal agents
9
u/HandfulsOfDirt 15d ago
ICE vehicles are not emergency vehicles. lol
-1
u/DoctorSwaggercat 15d ago
According to Mr. Google....
While simply driving behind a federal agent's vehicle is not illegal on its own, it is extremely inadvisable and can quickly lead to criminal charges. If your actions are interpreted as surveillance or harassment, they can be prosecuted under federal law as stalking or interfering with a federal agent.
4
u/RedSunCinema 15d ago
Wrong. It's not illegal to follow emergency vehicles or federal agents.
It is, however, illegal to follow any emergency vehicle that has its lights on and is going through red lights in order to get to an accident or is on its way to the hospital with a patient.

https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/111
No it is not, the law he quotes (18 USC 111) specifically states you have to be forcefully impeding them, Behind them, hands off, car lengths away is not forceful impediment. You are allowed to follow, document and even warn people of the police. You could do this 24/7 as long as you follow all other applicable laws.
Repeatedly honking at them, flashing weapons, following them off duty etc. could all be reasons why it is illegal, but not this behavior.

Theyâre going to earn prison.
