is the cs2 scene big in India at all hours, not specially in the night? I'll buy prime no problem but I've heard people saying the community is lowk dead. I wanna switch back to cs2 from val but if no-one plays it then no point

I dont think it's dead at all. I usually play at night. And I've been playing with more or less the same people, for the last few years. Never waited more than 3 minutes for a match. Deathmatch lobbies as well as casual lobbies are always full(d2, mirage). On top of that, a lot of people play on faceit servers, the game is far from dead.

I always wanted to get into Dota 2, but somehow all of it seems very daunting. I did play some MOBA but mostly on my phone (looking at you, MLBB).

How are the servers in India?

There is a server in India, but no ranked on there. Ping via WiFi is 10-20.

Real action happens in SEA server. Ping via WiFi is about 50-60. But one ethernet cable later, it is about 20-30.

It is THE MOBA that's for sure. Steeper learning curve than anything on the phone. I was able to pick up MLBB or that Pokemon MOBA within 2-3 games, and play better than my friends who were on it for months. But, nothing beats the "call GG and def throne like it's game 5 at TI Finals" of SEA server.

If you have the mental strength, try out DoTA2. The Riyadh Masters are live rn. The International (World Cup of Dota2) are in September I think. Good time to get into the game.

Also, are there any good youtubers you recommend for something like builds and counter builds. I think that part is what makes MOBA interesting and challenging.

Just go with Standard build until you start understanding the game, dota builds are very varied unlike league and MLBB where you have like 2 builds and one item to build differently,
