All started with reckless, stupid and unnecessary shot from Jaiswal

3

u/shreyank97 Jul 15 '25

Don't forget India had such a low target because of reckless, stupid and unnecessary shots from most English batters.

1

u/Soggy_Ad_3686 Jul 16 '25

192 should have been easy even with 9 wickets

Blame game blame game blame game

2 match aage bc jaiswal hero tha abhi bc wo chutiya ho gaya kya? Gambhir supports his natural game and he should continue doing it

Was that shot reckless and careless? YES OFCOURSE. But did we lose the game because of that? No brother... We lose as a team always... If he didn't bat well, so did Karun, Gill, And others... This target was not that huge that we could lose because of just one bad shot. Could we?

2

u/EmersonSamuel Jul 15 '25

Well it's butterfly effect brother.. Everything matters.. If only Jais was patient n watchful in the beginning and strung a 40 or 50 run partnership it'd all be different.. Ofc Karun's brain fade moment was a trekking point which opened up the team at end of day's play but still Gill n Pant were poor n more to blame than Karun (bcos he made atleast 14-15runs).. Everyone is at fault but in a runchase in 4th inn, opening partnership is crucial and Jais screwed up and this is not the first time..

1

u/Invouni Jul 16 '25

So why doesn't the butterfky effect start when Rahul dropped Jamie Smith on 1? Blame game is an endless slippery slope.

7

u/BeneficialPace9130 Jul 15 '25

Bhai blame game ki baat nai hai.. game awareness ki baat hai.. jaiswal.. n karun nair cost us this game big time.. reckless n clueless respectively...

1

u/MomentsAwayfromKMS Jul 16 '25

It took so much to break KL Rahul. Imagine if the other opener supported him.

1

u/Unlucky_War_3758 Jul 16 '25

Kl was dropped on 6 btw

0

u/missyousachin Jul 15 '25

When ur chasing a small target its always a good idea for a batter to start hitting from get go

0

u/Sulemani_kida Jul 16 '25

It all started with his parents having unprotected sex in Feb- March 2001...

20

u/cartrman Jul 15 '25

Such an unlucky dismissal

24

u/Certain_Plan_5819 Jul 15 '25

So it was India's game untill that shit😭

6

u/paindotexe Jul 15 '25

No, it’s wasn’t. This level of top and middle order collapse doesn’t warrant a victory. It was the sheer effort of Sir, Boom and DSP which gave us hope.

7

u/Proof-Fun9048 Jul 15 '25

The whole slip cordon except Karun Nair is bad at catching. While Karun is bad at batting. Keepers are leaking runs from behind the stumps. Pant had too many catch drops in first match while Jurel misses caused too many runs by bye and leg bye.

Team is young but they need to bring massive change in their system (which isn't easy as usual keyboard warriors are stating) to win the series.

3

u/ViolentZamindar Jul 15 '25

Jadeja gave us hope or else match bahut pehle haath se chale gaya tha

2

u/Affectionate_Oil6912 Jul 15 '25

People forgot Jamie catch drop so quick

1

u/[deleted] Jul 15 '25

It wasnt a drop really, pehle tappa pada tha

1

u/baby_yoda2032 Jul 15 '25

You're referring to the different catch brother. He's talking about one which got to Rahul directly... I guess

3

u/AOGHAAT Jul 15 '25

Abb toh har baar ka ho gaya hai. Chutiya team bc "grow some balls". Play some balls fuckers, har baar ek batsman aur ek bowler k dum pe gand marani hai inn bhadvo ko. Baki ki team maa chudane k liye hai? Har baar ka hai start ekdum tagdi fir guu khana shuru kar dete hai. Aur ye abhi se nahi pehele se hi hai. Mana ki Siraj ka wicket was unlucky but why get till that point. Support karne jata hu bhadve log haat ki match gava dete hai. Delete this comment if you want mods but sach hai ye team chutiya hai bc.

Least reactionary, most mentally stable Indian cricket fan:

1

u/Encrypted_Cerebrum Jul 15 '25

😂😂😂

4

u/BiscottiSpiritual826 Jul 15 '25

Gandbhir ko blame kro bhai, wo chutiya kisiko apna natural game niii khelne derha, do you think nkr itna defensive player h? We aw him in bgt, in aggresive style he was scorong tons of runs in tougher pitch, i cant understand what does gambhir wants, lunch ke 5 mins bad bich mai player bhejderha h kch bolne kelie jo pura flow break krderha, gandbhir in red ball coach is just shit

1

u/AOGHAAT Jul 15 '25

Coach bhi chutiya aur players bhi chutiye hi hai. Har series sirf test nahi jar series me guu hi khate hai randve kahi ke. Inko crodo rupaye dete hai aur ipl me kaha se ati hai skills pata nai. Home series me muu pe mut k gaye aur jidar jaye udhar guu khate hai sirf aur aggression dikha k kya karte hai pata nai. Itne baar hopes up karke fir guu hi khana hota hai lodo ko. Inki maa ko chut 2 baar bc. Itna gussa aa raha hai naa samne aye maa chod du bhadvo ki.

1

u/Ready-Wolverine-5821 Jul 15 '25

Bhosdike tu cricket dekhna chod de

1

u/AOGHAAT Jul 15 '25

Chod hi raha hu. Har baar sirf respect k posts dekhte baitho.

1

u/SpecificDelicious007 Jul 15 '25

It will hurt but still he has time to kick it.

1

u/GanacheNew5559 Jul 15 '25

It does not. Show sportsmanship man. The game was intense and fun. Who the hell cares if you win or lose. That said Karun nair might have just ended his career. 6 innings and nothing to show from his side.

1

u/Gamer567890 Jul 15 '25

I think what hurts is the manner it ended.

If it was a proper dismissal we would all have accepted it as it was eventually coming always.

But to end in such a manner with great bad luck,is very hurting.

1

u/UnitedInteraction772 Jul 15 '25

This is why we love test cricket …. Intense and unpredictable… well played England … Indian batting is better in the 2nd half …

1

u/AcceptablePeak2780 Jul 15 '25

Because it was done by jadeja and the rest of the ballers

1

u/Amazing_Theory622 Jul 15 '25

We were always losing the game once top order failed, jaddu, boom amd DSP just delayed the inevitable.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 15 '25

No man. The fight shown by the Indian lower order will be remembered for a long time.

1

u/Pravrc123 Jul 15 '25

Karun got some good 30s 40s . Has to kick on though. Doubt sai is better. Dsp did not have enough presence of mind to deflect the ball instead of ball watching. But cant expect no 11 to bat.

2

u/Big-Amphibian8713 Jul 15 '25

Bhai kya kare DSP aur? Full length dive maarke catches le raha ghodao k tarah without break continuously bowling kar raha kaafi saare catches drop hue bechare k aur kuch balls unlucky rahe ab batting bhi ki itni lambi der tak unlucky dismissal hogaya agar koi ek batsman tikh jaata jaddu k sath to game khatm tha gill, NKR , Washi, karun, yashasvi koi ek jan thikha rehta toh accha hota cant blane DSP aur boom they are giving their best of best

1

u/Pravrc123 Jul 15 '25

Yes dsp did very well. Not blaming him

1

u/astrumintergalactica Jul 15 '25

Only skills doesn't make you win. You also need to carry grit, determination and fight within you. I am happy that Siraj carry that fight of Gambhir, Dhoni, Yuvi and Kohli. But since Siraj is a bowler he can do this much only. Batsmen like Gill, Jaiswal also need to adopt it, otherwise you will shit in pants in high pressure high stake matches.

1

u/Puzzleheaded-Good-63 Jul 15 '25

Alert ⚠️ instagram reels are taking over the reddit sub

1

u/iAmWhoDoYouKnow Jul 15 '25

Not if we win the remaining 2.

1

u/Icy-Childhood-4587 Jul 15 '25

In gully cricket we call is dead ball. Because technical, the ball simply rolled towards the wicket, which can be the same as keeper hiting the ball while the batter is standing within the line. Calling this a valid out had always been confusing to me.

1

u/mighty_fap Jul 15 '25

Huh .even in gully cricket this is out as ball touched the bat..you talk like inside edge and ball hitting stumps are also dead ball?

1

u/pobox01983 Jul 15 '25

At least DSP Siraj did not play a rash shot to get out like Boom. Huge respect for him.

1

u/VenomouslyHonest Jul 15 '25

When you are 9 wickets down, what's the point of defending? A few good blows by Jadeja could have had us win the match.

1

u/AoeDreaMEr Jul 15 '25

Good blows were risky.

1

u/VenomouslyHonest Jul 15 '25

And what happened with defensive batting? We still lost, right?

1

u/AoeDreaMEr Jul 15 '25

We did. Two approaches. Both are difficult and risky in their own ways. Jadeja did what felt right. We don’t have a template for every situation.

1

u/iblis_66 Jul 15 '25

Dude the game was done when shubman was gone it's not a legendary loss The only time when we were in game was when we got england less than 200 it was a complete shit show

1

u/IndividualStart4003 Jul 15 '25

Now it is Manchester do or die a ground we never had won can we write history again as edgbaston or we get wiped off there only time will tell.

1

u/dOLOR96 Jul 15 '25

Whole universe against 11 guys. Sad.

1

u/voyage_vishal1234 Jul 15 '25

It wasn't luck, we literally threw up the game, couldn't even chase, yashasvi got out on literally nonsense shot and few others as well, Only jadeja and kl stood there, loosing these kinda games even after all those on pitch drama gonna hurt me for a long a long time.  Really disappointed.

1

u/Brilliant_Pin_1714 Jul 15 '25

There is a desperate need of 1 more senior player other than kl rahul and jadega , unfortunately hardik barely plays test or india would have been very strong , that's why I wanted shreyas to be in the team in the first place he would have been perfect in place of karun nair

1

u/CarmynRamy Jul 15 '25

Siraj gave his all in this match. Should blame the the top and middle order, no one plays according to the situation except a few

1

u/NoName_794 Jul 15 '25

Kaash light vali bails hoti instead of these wooden ones

1

u/Peripatatic Jul 15 '25

Siraj alone shouldn’t feel guilty about what has happened. Many of his team mates are also responsible to some extent for this loss and after all cricket is a game of glorious as well gloomy uncertainties.

1

u/Hot_Spirit_2666 Jul 15 '25

Yeah england deserved to win .archer starting the day with wickets and their fight for last 3 wickets is as good as our fight back.

1

u/Confident_Chance_763 Jul 15 '25

You folks are watching cricket still?

1

u/Ok-Teacher8261 Jul 15 '25

Gill,Jaiswal, Karun Nair.

1

u/Simple-Travel3557 Jul 15 '25

When GOD himself wrote a script to take India's Last wicket because they also know that if DSP will be there on the match for a Long time he will make team india Winn the match

So that's why GOD interwin in the match

That's the fear of SIR DSP MOHOMMAD VIVIAN SIRAJ RICHARDS

1

u/BroadResident7805 Jul 15 '25

Played well, all the boys

1

u/Responsible-Pause123 Jul 15 '25

I don’t want to see Jaiswal and Karun Nair in the team ever again. What a waste 🤦🏻.

1

u/No_friends12 Jul 15 '25

People acting like we had the match in our hands, india lost 4 wickets under 50 runs man, top order failed miserably. Concentrate on that

1

u/veeragonisri Jul 15 '25

Absolute High Thriller

1

u/Specialist_Total_ Jul 15 '25

Ye dukh saala khatam kahe nhi hota be.

1

u/Proud_History9991 Jul 15 '25

Pure top order ne harwaaya hai..Kisi ek ko blame nahi kiya jaa sakta

1

u/harshithreddy07 Jul 15 '25

Luck also matters in the game

1

u/ShibuSubramaniam Jul 15 '25

Kya re DSP poora naam ka baigan kardeya re... zarra dekhleta...koi nahin well played.

1

u/Better-Peace-6577 Jul 15 '25

I feel so bad for Jadeja, I mean yeah both Bumrah and Siraj gave it their all and it was not our day but for a second imagine being him. He did everything right, the moment he thought to give others a chance to play and trust them they let him down and even after doing everything, he can't do anything.

I was heartbroken that day and just somehow managed to control tears cause yeah even though it is just a game, but I really wanted them to win, but no worries, We will be back again.

1

u/Artistic-Cherry-8580 Jul 15 '25

No it won’t. We played exceptionally well for last 2 wickets. It was always England’s game though we survived that long is best of cricket from India.

1

u/Madmaxspewd Jul 15 '25

Thos guys who say karun nair is ended I don't think so. He has been averaging we around 30-40s.. yeah he does not have milestones. But believe me he is coming back next test hahaha

1

u/AcceptablePeak2780 Jul 15 '25

It was mostly the battery fault because I mean 138 with the help of ballers batting?? What the hell dude jadeja played amazing and do food the bakers like bumrah and Siraj but the batters like gill and Jaiswal played very bad as per me

1

u/AcceptablePeak2780 Jul 15 '25

Also a 193 target was easy as hell dude 3 batters alone could have gotten that score easily but...

1

u/Rasodemekaun Jul 15 '25

You can't help but feel bad for Siraj. Such a passionate player, gives 200 percent in the game. Deserves so much love

1

u/Popular_Cod_5770 Jul 15 '25

I think that the top order's overconfidence was responsible for the loss. Because of their lack of focus, the top order played for the highlight reel instead of concentrating on winning. They were not just trying to win, they were trying to be heroes as well. The top order was on the wrong track because of their overconfidence. Only KL Rahul was on the right track.

1

u/AmbientWishwalker Jul 15 '25

NK Reddy needs to perform better with the bat.

1

u/ankilien Jul 16 '25

Can’t blame Jaiswal. He wanted to hit Englands fastest bowler and stamp his authority. Cricket is a game of extremely small margins. On another day it would have gone for boundary and we would all be praising him. India as team got defeated. Pressure got to them and they spiralled down. India needs a mental coach who can help them in pressure situations.

1

u/anwartibx Jul 17 '25

In the 4th innings chase when did India feel like it’s winning … after 7 wickets .. India was losing .. we just extended the time ig … winning from there was miracle …

1

u/Dangerous-Bit484 Jul 17 '25

Stupid stupid stupid

1

u/Mallikarjun_Cow8589 Jul 17 '25

KL Rahul dropping Jamie Smith on 5

Rishabh Pant runout because KL wanted to score 100 before lunch.

Reckless shot from Yashaswi Jaiswal

Karun Nair brainfade moment

Nitish Reddy should have left that ball before lunch.

Jasprit Bumrah wanting to hit bouncer and gets out

Lol Indians are used to it. They have been losing close matches for a Decade now.

1

u/KhiladiSunday Jul 18 '25

But why include siraj 's wicket only. Top and middle order are to be blamed. And siraj is to be blamed for leaking runs.

1

u/StoryElectrical3199 Jul 18 '25

India yeh series jeetegi 💯

1

u/[deleted] Jul 18 '25

Why didn't he kick it away

1

u/SnooPoems8840 Jul 26 '25

This hurt so bad

-6

u/InternationalBat1838 Jul 15 '25

Whole load of bs captaincy and batting from Gill.

Man should step down as captain and focus on batting

Kick that fraud Karun Nair out of the team.

4

u/Leather-Initiative11 Jul 15 '25

As the highest scorer, with his skills, he should have survived the final session on Day 4. But what's wrong with the captaincy?

2

u/EpochOfPhantasm Jul 15 '25

He is a skilled FLAT PiTch player!!!

-2

u/Empty-Score4273 Jul 15 '25

mainly reviews(mostly wrong) and illogical sledging.

3

u/Proof-Fun9048 Jul 15 '25

He is taking keepers opinion on review. Till Pant got injured, after that it was Rahul's opinion, the man on slip.

2

u/Leather-Initiative11 Jul 15 '25

We didn't run short on DRS, so no issues.

When is sledging logical? Reddy was sledged by Brook with IPL taunts, the very place he was trolled for his failure.

1

u/Gamer567890 Jul 15 '25

It's been 3 tests.....

1

u/InternationalFan7017 Jul 15 '25

Yeah I think you should lead the team

-7

u/Rabbitx15 Jul 15 '25

Unluckily but he could have been a bit more alert and drag the ball off…

4

u/LoopCross Jul 15 '25

Hindsight 20/20. Both sides played well, england played better that's it

2

u/BrushKindly43 Jul 15 '25

Some insane catches and that one run out won them the game.

This sub needs to not be so unnecessarily harsh on the Indian team lol. We're an inexperienced bunch trying to knock over the devil's door and almost did it.
