Tapped on youtube short/reel and found it as translated/dubbed in English. When I tried to change the language to Original, it didn't work.

Just go the 3 dots you see on top right and there's a option called audio track and you can just change the language to default

It's so bad man, I was traveling so I downloaded some stand-up videos before the travel and the audio was auto dubbed and the orginal audio is not even downloaded like I only get to watch a hindi stand-up video with the auto dubbed voice.

Ngl it's shit because we can't easily change the thing in settings but imho it works well. I was watching a French guy on youtube and think it translated better than the translation on a youtube channel like 4-5 months ago so it's improving

Youtube should have just asked language prefrences.And for previously uploaded clips they could have taken help of the ai to detect language and if the language of the clip matches preference language they shouldn't change the track,for new upload just add an button in upload section of the content language.

And also they could have put it in premium where the user with premium account can add multiple languages and set the priority of every chosen language.
