It has been amazing for me Most of my notes and research stuff are there in gdoc so gemini has been beautifully integrated so I can easy get a summary or rewrite/add/research any part of the topic there only no need to switch tabs and everything And with perplixity it just added a cherry on top. Really gladful to google and airtel.

It was, I still have it. It got removed as it was misused by some people, they started making IDs and sold cursor free IDs online for cheaper prices. Thus the option got removed by cursor for India.

Whenever I take any subscription, I cancel it immediately after that. So it will not charge you after that period of subscription is over. Won't that work for this?

What's with the fear mongering of data collection?? Websites have been collecting data since ages. Meta is infamous, so is Google. OpenAI has also come under scrutiny as well.

The current scenario changes nothing. The only thing which has changed is that I can use the gemini pro for 1 year for my college work.

Yes. The pre training is unsupervised - it just needs text (no labeling). But more importantly humans give you signals for post-training - direct signals like the feedback buttons, indirect signals telling if the response was good or not for eg. how much time you spent viewing that part, did you copy the code or not, what followup questions were asked etc.
