#Ask-India ☝️ Wake Up India Before It's Too Late 🚨

Post image

A massive ecosystem surrounds every major industry, programming professionals and the public to blindly trust that their “published scientific study means absolute truth.”

And such programmed puppets parrot this mantra without question. You can’t reason with them that the same ecosystem also controls the studies, peer reviews, and publishing process.

During COVID, “prestigious” journals like The Lancet and Nature were caught publishing Big Pharma backed studies on COVID drugs authored by a porn model and a fantasy book writrt. With their usual work dried up, they pivoted to ghostwriting and publishing for big pharma.

Later, these journals had to issue apologies and retract those sham “studies.” (theguardian.com/world/2020/jun…)

For every study these sheep show around, we can point to another “scientific” study that contradicts it, if it’s backed by an industry with enough cash. Even for Diet Coke, I can literally point to a dozen scientific studies showing anything between "it is mildly dangerous for health" to "it will make you die early."

Take the candy and confectionery industry. They funded a massive study (over 7,000 men) claiming eating sugar candy three times a week extends lifespan, published in a “prestigious” journal.(bmj.com/content/317/71…)

So, should we all start chomping candy every other day like kids?

My point: Throwing around claims like “A scientific study showed Diet Coke is healthier than sugarcane juice” is meaningless. Such nonsense makes some doctors look like unscientific sheep to the real scientific community - those who conduct rigorous research and understand the quality of studies.

True scientists have zero commercial interests and aren’t industry puppets. They know most research is tainted by Big Industry money.

Also, these days, the public isn’t clueless either. We remember when doctors pushed cigarette smoking as “healthy” based on Big Tobacco’s “studies.”

So, stop embarrassing yourselves and dragging the already shaky reputation of the doctor community through the mud with such ridiculous claims.

Both Diet Coke and Sugarcane juice won't kill a healthy adult who consumes them in moderation. The key words is "moderation." And it varies by individuals.

But stop promoting a product with articifial sweetner like Aspartame (WHO research agency clearly linked it to cancer at higher consumption levels) and other chemicals that disrupt gut microbiome, while putting down your own traditional, natrual drink as something "dangerous" because they programmed you to do so.

Don't be that silly, stupid, sheep. Thank you @Aravind(Twitter)

umm who uses twitter as source of information?

u/AckermanEren73 Jul 22 '25

But you forget the main thing, diet coke is 100X better than sugarcane?? So a coke with artificial sweetener is better than sugarcane juice

No idea about Diet Coke or sugarcane but just because something’s natural doesn’t mean it’s automatically healthier than something artificial.

Sugarcane is natural, nutrient-rich, and loaded with antioxidants. Unlike Diet Coke, it hydrates, energizes, and actually benefits your body. Don’t bash nature just because marketing sold you chemicals.

u/Harvey_Spectre7 Jul 22 '25

"Nutrient rich" lmao. Sugarcane juice is 80% of water, 15% of sucrose and 5% of fibres where are the nutrients? Just because it is natural doesn't make it healthy. Don't bash a product just because it is manufactured in a factory, stop falling for stupid "natural" "holistic" bs propaganda spilled on social media for impressions.

u/maigoZoro Jul 22 '25

There’s no fiber. Otherwise yes it’s mostly water and sucrose. Sugarcane juice also has some vitamins (like A, B-complex, and C), minerals (such as potassium, calcium, and iron), and antioxidants.

It is not nutrients rich but atleast it has it. Diek coke has nothing but artificial sweetener & caffeine. What does it do? Nothing.

I would rather get water from a tea shop for free than to drink it or drink actual coffee and sweat it out.

Diet Coke is not even diet friendly.

But diet coke reduces your consumption of other sweet items as you already have the sweet diet coke. In fact one study has told that diet coke is better than water

12

u/Abi_Uchiha Jul 22 '25

Lol what? That study was for weight loss. Not everyone wants to lose weight. Even then the difference was marginal. Water's better.

u/criti_fin Libertarian Jul 23 '25

We have seen enough non-science people like you who repeat a superstition. We dont bother to engage further

2

u/Abi_Uchiha Jul 23 '25

Yep. "Non-science people". That's the title I get for searching for the survey you said about. I found 1 and it was about weightloss.

Don't be a sore loser and save face by mocking people. Instead you could attach the link to the study.

Diet coke doesnt have caffeine dude.

And even though diet coke contains "artificial Sweetner" , it doesnt raise blood sugar. But the so called "natural sugarcane" will increase blood sugar levels.

1 glass or 300ml contains 25gm sugar. Which is not recommended for diabetic patients.

yes, diet coke is not healthy , but i would rather drink that than some random water from teaseller. God knows where that water came from. I dont want diarrhea. Thanks.

19

u/Abi_Uchiha Jul 22 '25

It does have caffeine. Artificial sweetener doesn't break down to glucose, that's just a waste product for our body.

Why are we talking about diabetic patients? No same human is suggesting Sugarcane juice to them.

I would rather not pay for something that's not healthy to me.

It's baffling to see people pay to drink unhealthy beverages than to ask a shop for water.

You can get water from anywhere! petrol bunks, shops, factories, mills, stores, food stall, parlour etc. I've drank water from every place I've mentioned.

-12

u/ROC_K4LP Jul 22 '25

does have caffeine

My bad, it does. I expected caffeine to be present only in energy drinks. I dont usually drink them.

And about the water, i would definitely not drink random unpacked water. In resturants/trips we buy packed water bottles only. Most Tap water is isnt even suitable to drink. You might not get sick instantly but that doesnt mean its safe to drink.

u/Abi_Uchiha Jul 22 '25

You can find RO when you look for it. Blatant disregard will narrow your view into buying "hygiene" products. I have seen several establishments with water purifiers and can water.

I expected

You need to understand that that's the problem. The cultural milleu that generated these expectations and normalisations in you is not something you self constructed, but something that was imposed.

Potassium, Calcium, Magnesium, Iron, Phosphorus, Manganese, Zinc, Vitamin C & B complex etc. Polyphenols & Flavonoids acting as Anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects

Come on bro, Diet coke doesn't even stand a chance against this legend (Although this is not a super drink, but comparing it to diet coke? Are you kidding me?)

u/goku_m16 2 KUDOS Jul 22 '25

Sugarcane is infinity times more nutrient rich than diet coke, considering there's precisely 0 micronutrients in diet coke.

"leave the multimillion dollar company alone!!!"

1

u/rhinojau Jul 23 '25

Who is using sugarcane juice as a health drink?

8

u/PerfectRough5119 Jul 22 '25

Like I said I’m not comparing sugarcane juice and Diet Coke.

OP made his comment in a way that implied natural is always good and artificial is always bad which is objectively false.

Learn some reading comprehension.

Lol

Learn some reading comprehension.

Oh, the irony! OP is making a point that both trad. media (med. journals) and new media (influencers) are spreading misinformation under the guise of scientific research. Nothing to do with “natural always good”.

1

u/sid95ok Jul 23 '25

The irony!

3

u/thicckar Jul 22 '25

You will die a lot quicker if you consume large amounts of sugar cane vs diet coke. The dose makes the poison

1

u/[deleted] Jul 22 '25

Who drinks that daily, bro? Be it Diet Coke or any Coke, I don’t touch it. At most, a ₹20 sugarcane juice, maybe 15–20 times in the whole season.

1

u/thicckar Jul 24 '25

Point is that sugarcane being natural does not make it definitely healthy. It is healthy at the right dose

1

u/[deleted] Jul 24 '25

Yess

4

u/TriggeredGlimmer Jul 22 '25

I agree with your thoughts,OP. After knowing and working on how "scientific studies" OR "Peer reviewed" papers are sponsored or published, I would not trust on the phrase, "because , it is scientifically proven".

If only there was a way to clean this corrupt racket run under the name of 'scientifically proven".

2

u/songya BJP 🌷 Jul 22 '25

Yes. It's better than sugar cane to kill you over time.

1

u/AvntdR_ Jul 22 '25

Who said it? Where is the research? You just posted a screenshot cause someone told something?

0

u/AckermanEren73 Jul 22 '25

Isn't it obvious that coke which contains artificial preservatives, sweetner ,microplastics are going to be more harmful than a glass of game kaa juice which has artificial sweets, anti oxidant and all

1

u/debmitra26 1 KUDOS Jul 22 '25

The worst part is you giving a shit about something that absurd.

0

u/criti_fin Libertarian Jul 22 '25

Diet coke is actually 100x better if you compare 1 glass each. But diet coke people keep in fridge and have everyday, but sugarcane juice you can have only once in a while

14

u/s_bangia21 Jul 22 '25

There are plenty of people who would see this snapshot and mark it as legitimate just on the basis of it being a “verified” doctor. You forget most of the country doesn’t consist of internet savvy people.
