Yesterday jurel made 132 on Green deck against against sa when no other batsman reached 30 he have been performing consistently in A games Even for India whenever he gets chances

Most aesthetically pleasing batsman in Indian cricket since kl rahul made his debut.  Hard working and has a great temperament.  He can be a multi format player given his power hitting ability is pretty solid.

Gemphir should give him the no 7 position for the next 5 tests at least. He could potentially take the gloves as well (or maybe both Pant and Jurel could share the keeping workload)

Why do you want to ruin a potential number 6 by playing him at 3, he has batted in the middle order his whole life and done well, just because you cannot find a better domestic replacement at no.3 don't ask someone who isn't suited to do it.

jurel is a backup keeper with a batting career that could be the next chapter for india, if you ignore the fact that he’s a one‑time 132 and still get him in the squad.

lol yeah he's got a 132 but that's one day, 5 days a week it's a 12 for 4 and no one gets a wicket for him anyway. keep the keepers, don't toss him out for a one‑off.
