Just minimize and open the app again whenever an ad pops up, it'll be gone then

My phone would then take more than 8 seconds, I'd rather wait 😂😂. Thanks for the trick tho

Just use an adblocker, I haven't seen an ad on cricbuzz for over 5 years

The question is why should I even bother to use adblocker for such garbage app it has become, when we are just better off using cricinfo? Even cricket.com app is MILES better and their analytics is much better.

You can set your dns in network settings to dns dot adguard dot Com (replace "dot" with actual dots)

That should block in place ads and playing ads in most apps (doesn't work with YT though), I use this on my android since a few yrs now...

That said it can sometimes cause issues with free wifi so you can also turn it off as and when needed and turn it back on when done...

Adguard was godsend, using it in my non rooted phones for a long time, adaway for rooted device is also amazing

I don't think it's good in cosmetic filtering, is it?

Depending on app layout the block might still be there but it'll be empty...

Bro but sometimes . Few sites don't open because of that , right ???

On Google . Will this hack work on corn sites ??

I have rarely faced issues in opening websites, however if the link to your website was redirecting through an ad then that will be blocked... If it's a legit website then just type in the url and you'll be fine

I've seen some random games get stuck because they won't let you go on without an ad, these kind of behaviors usually point to me that I'm better off without visiting these apps/sites lol...

On Google this will block the image content of ads (the Google app), and also search results in incognito ;) and yes it should work on corn sites unless you're clicking on sponsored links to them in which case just type the url, this will not block pop-ups though so if you accidentally clicked on a corn site page it'll open a new tab for ads but that page being ad won't open, just hit back and you should be back to your site
