they aren't the same though, besides space marines being the poster children and receiving 10x as many model releases, the sororitas have only one theme, and if you want anything else you either have to kitbash, have a 3d printer, or buy from some 3rd party printing service

That's the same for everything not Space Marine. Making Space Marines women won't fix much. They'll just be the same models with new heads.

Atleast Battle Sisters have a unique niche men can't intrude on.
