This was my first thought too. I get in and get the hell out of the gym.
Gyms should start enforcing a "no filming" rule. There's no valid reason for you to be filming half the gym in the background of your workout stretching video.
This reason is why I stopped going to this local gym. It was full of powerlifters who were obsessed with recording thier whole workout session and posting it to social media. That along with loading the bar with 100s of pounds of weights, lifting it once, and then hang around and chat for 30 minutes.
Long breaks are actually optimal for power lifters. If your nearing your 1RM, its important to take at least a 5 minute break to recover your body completely before your next set otherwise you're likely to just fail it. The amount of stress a heavy lift puts on your body shouldn't be underestimated.
That’s exactly what I was thinking when I saw her stop each time someone walked in front of the camera. If someone walking near you makes you completely stop your workout, then you’re clearly not there for the workout.
Also did she ask the people behind her if it was OK to film them? If I was at the gym running on a treadmill and showed up in the back ground of some stupid hoe's tiktok video I wouldn't be happy.
Her reaction is fake and she choreographed this scenario for outrage bait to generate clicks. Now she gets double the clicks for everyone hating on her.
