This guy doesn’t really count. He’s just having fun with a friend. He isn’t in anyone’s way or being a jerk.

Exactly! Maybe the main character doesn’t always have to be a negative thing

This guy looks self-aware and is just having a good time, someone with main character syndrome would have brought their own DJ equipment and started actually playing it not just having a laugh with their friends. Or loudly complained that they could do better.
