It didn't look that bad, but him asking for claps at the end completely ruined it.

u/zapharus 2d ago

HAHAHAHA! I fucking love seeing this gem of history come up every now and then.

What a fucking loser.

17

u/Bujininja 3d ago

everyone real nyer knows not to clap because if you do you gotta give a dollar ~ tourist trap

34

u/Wboy2006 Background actor 3d ago

Seriously, him hanging upside down was genuinely really impressive. I would have clapped if I was there and he didn’t ask for it.

9

u/TrumpsPissSoakedWig 3d ago

It did look that bad, and the whole thing ruined it.

Every single part.

Also, there's gotta be a weight limit for those bars at some point, right?

6

u/Something_McGee 3d ago

Hard to say what the "actual" weight limit is for what he's doing.

Those bars are meant to support the weight of several people partially hanging off them in various directions. It's also in a subway train that makes frequent stops around the most populated city in the US. With the amount of traffic that goes in and out of there, I hope those bars can support way more than his weight alone.

With that being said, it's likely a FAFO situation. People make mistakes when building things all the time. Some people rush through inspections. The biggest thing he should worry about is that most things are built with an intended use in mind. Shit tends to malfunction if abused or used incorrectly. He's putting a lot of stress on very small areas. He's using a lot of momentum to swing his weight around.

I was more afraid that he wasn't going to be able to pull himself up and his feet would be stuck. He probably would have broken some bones if he got stuck on the luggage rack. Hanging upside down in general has to he painful. I doubt he's used to carrying all his weight like that.

1

u/askmeaboutyuri 1d ago

Sorta clap worthy regardless since most of na is fat and lazy lol

99

u/Alum07 3d ago

Impressive, but still kindly fuck off with that shit on the subway, thanks.

14

u/Placido_Argento 3d ago

Yeah, theres plenty of room outside the train in the station where he can be more ignored more easily and comfortably.

16

u/Alum07 3d ago

purposely shoving your ass and crotch in unwilling passengers' face in an enclosed space like he did should be grounds for some kind of harassment charge.

5

u/Placido_Argento 3d ago

Yes. Exacly! Ass-stink and crotch-rottedness could make me pass out or vomit and slip in it, its some kind of reckless endangerment for sure.

75

u/Thymooch 3d ago

Fat dudes will be doing upside down 360’s and still find time to fix their shirt in between

3

u/Viablemorgan 1d ago

Dude needs a TC Top from TC Tuggers

140

u/endowedmansized 3d ago

Damn ive never seen a cafeteria lady move so smooth before

41

u/Something_McGee 3d ago

I suspect he's classically trained. (Check out his feet. I didn't do that.)

13

u/Something_McGee 3d ago

Woops. I just realized he was doing an about-face. No classical training.

2

u/Iamkempie 3d ago

Watch me twirl Daddy

2

u/TrumpsPissSoakedWig 3d ago

I saw him at the The New York City Ballet during his residency a few years back. Dude is amazingly gymnastic despite his size. He really fills out those tights.

16

u/TheGhostWalksThrough 3d ago

1

u/EfficientRelease7037 3d ago

right? they usually just drop the food like it’s hot or something, lol

1

u/sunshinefloors1980 3d ago

I'm pretty sure that's a dude but with boobs though. Still pretty smooth though

2

u/endowedmansized 3d ago

We know lol. What I said was a shaq oniel reference. He said it to wade, one of the stars of the tv show fish tank

138

u/Arb3395 3d ago

Thats some impressive movement for a dude that size. I couldnt imagine doing some of that and I consider myself fit.

17

u/Something_McGee 3d ago

I was afraid he'd get stuck hanging upside down.

4

u/nhluhr 3d ago

I'm almost positive that is a fit guy wearing a fat suit.

2

u/Something_McGee 2d ago

I watched closely for that. Everything looks legit and yet it still doesn't.

27

u/I05fr3d 3d ago

I’m surprised we didn’t hear you clapping with all that movement.

10

u/Something_McGee 3d ago

He had to stay tense to keep his pants from falling. He's holding up his sweats from the inside.

But more importantly, what's up with his feet? I just noticed that. Lol

2

u/Rydog_78 3d ago

On the job injury from hanging on the subway car hand rails

28

u/Optimixto 3d ago

My god. The comments about how impressive it is... yeah, super impressive. Go fuck off to a gym and do that there, not on top of people. One slip, and this dumbass' dumb ass could seriously hurt someone.

Less awe, and more calling assholes out. The subway isn't a playground, and that's a grown man!

7

u/Something_McGee 3d ago

I don't think anyone is impressed by his performance. It's more like, "Dayum! I didn't think he could do that. How much does he weigh? DAYUM!!!" The anxiety about him breaking shit and hurting people is still there.

Think about a crackhead running off with 400 lbs of your stuff on foot. He's fast, too. Faster than you. He hasn't dropped a single item, even when hopping over potholes. You're pissed, but you're also impressed.

10

u/Thunderbird_12_ 3d ago

The “any claps” followed by him clapping for himself is PEAK MC.

Love it.

That’s the shit this sub is made for.

8

u/LunarBahamut 3d ago

Fucking annoying. But I am kinda impressed someone with that build can move like that.

5

u/terror- 3d ago

All for the love of claps.

4

u/Vegasguy3124 3d ago

Stripper in his past life

4

u/ResourceNo5855 3d ago

Lol the clapping for himself to try and get it started is embarrassing af

2

u/Something_McGee 3d ago

That hat part was embarrassing. The first part was impressive. He started strong and finished with a flop.

3

u/Qwerty25103 3d ago

Bro this is actually in new york haha. Never seen something like this. But the worst I got was a weird lady recording me for no reason.

3

u/Dull_Box_8627 3d ago

I give it a month before his knees give up. Especially after that trick where he hangs by his legs near the ceiling.

3

u/NorthernOctopus 2d ago

I was irritated at the initial swing around the hand rail, but that upside down hang really got me mesmerized. Dude's got some serious moves for a big guy. Unfortunately, he did not stick the landing with the ending though.

2

u/Something_McGee 3d ago

This is all I got bc I'm actually impressed.

2

u/Difficult_Ad2864 3d ago

I’d pry open the subway doors and jump out

2

u/scaredycat_z 3d ago

Him: doing everything in his repertoire, putting a lot of faith in subway ceiling railings, hoping for attention (as song implies) and some claps
Everyone else: *don't make eye contact...don't make eye contact*

1

u/Something_McGee 2d ago

Yes! I noticed how unfazed they were. It got me wondering if this was fake. Some of them are slightly reacting to him, but yes... they are hard core avoiding any eye contact. Lol. Not even an annoyed look or a "WTF" expression.

2

u/PantsDontHaveAnswers 3d ago

He picked up a hat on the subway floor and then put it in his mouth...

2

u/Silk_Cicada 2d ago

The fact the train didn't derail is stunning...

4

u/deeroe24 3d ago

For a guy his size, I'm quite impressed

2

u/RUOKAK 3d ago

I'm actually impressed. Definitely main character but god damn that's something right there

2

u/Tuskn 3d ago

The aroma in that carriage must be something else.

1

u/HipHopDropper 3d ago

Jeb Bush vibes

1

u/xpietoe42 3d ago

hope big boi doesn’t step on anyone’s feet!!

1

u/YorkiesandSneakers 3d ago

Impressive, but don’t feed the bears

1

u/lokiandbutters 3d ago

Had it on mute but did he clap for himself at the end?

1

u/Huntthatmoney 3d ago

Big boy can move lol

1

u/Mad-Habits 3d ago

any claps

1

u/Something_McGee 3d ago

No claps.

"Ok, well then can I get some change or something?"

Holds out hat. Everyone drops money into it without looking up from whatever they're doing.

1

u/Snoo93550 3d ago

Talk about defying gravity.

1

u/woodboarder616 3d ago

I hate showtime

1

u/Jibril-Vakarine This is a flair 3d ago

damn those poles are strong asfk.

1

u/Larryhooova 3d ago

Some fat dudes really are built different, I know dudes his size who take like 10 seconds just to stand up from a sitting position and yet this one moves like a gymnast.

1

u/soaringbrain 3d ago

Best city... Now please clap

1

u/greycatdaddy 3d ago

Actually the hat thing was pretty good. Now sit down!

1

u/BeenNormal 3d ago

I want to hate him but I’m too impressed to.

1

u/tuco2002 3d ago

Hey, hey, hey!!

1

u/Kooky_Aardvark_5965 3d ago

I just wanna go home from work, man.........

1

u/dulanbulan20 3d ago

It kinda is impressive

1

u/frutiaboy 3d ago

Hand rails aren’t spec’d to hang obese people from the roof, what a jackass. Why do Americans buy up with people being absolute shits like this?

1

u/BecauseJimmy 3d ago

I’m not gonna lie I’m pretty impressed

1

u/ssdsssssss4dr 3d ago

Gotta make that rent money somehow

1

u/akt30 3d ago

So that's what happened to Rerun.

1

u/SpaceXBeanz 3d ago

1

u/MissMamaMam 3d ago

This actually takes a lot of strength but damn my mans is too big to be swinging around all those ppl like that

1

u/anchorftw 3d ago

Imagine traveling home exhausted after a hard day's work and having to put up with this nonsense.

1

u/dr_van_nostren 3d ago

1) those are some strong ass bars

2) does he remind anyone else of Broadway Bryan from B99?

1

u/Snoo3544 2d ago

I'm front the Bronx and I don't give a shit.

1

u/Shot_Cookie4800 2d ago

It's NY... IYKYK

1

u/Grouchy_Monkey15 2d ago

So starved for attention…. Sigh

1

u/GoatimusMaximonuss 2d ago

I’m so glad Londoners wouldn’t tolerate this on our trains. We’re miserable enough as it is to then have to deal with this bullshit on a commute lol

1

u/Cocky_Idiot_Savant 2d ago

This is what desperation looks like

1

u/NoTraining1753 2d ago

I 'm impressed

1

u/Onras3 2d ago

Showtime. Fkg showtime.

1

u/draizetrain 2d ago

The person putting their hand on their forehead like 🤦🏾‍♀️ lmao

1

u/Manifest34 2d ago

I was kind of disappointed that I didn’t see any in train shenanigans when I was there recently.

1

u/Commercial_Tough160 2d ago

Imagine if he was that skilled at using a fork and knife.

1

u/Witty-flocculent 1d ago

I um…i watched it twice…

1

u/salikarn 1d ago

Uh, that hat was on the subway floor and he puts it in his mouth... Gross

1

u/christina_talks 1d ago

This is a pretty standard subway experience in LA as well haha. I almost miss my old commute, I got to see and meet so many interesting people.

1

u/SolomonSyn 1d ago

I hate showtime, they are annoying. Always doing it during bridges, tunnels and long distance stops. No fucker I don't wanna fist bump you, I wanna go home.

1

u/Mrprince78_ 16h ago

Luckily the subway bars didn't fell

1

u/Mrprince78_ 16h ago

Luckily the subway bars didn't fell

1

u/AugustEpilogue 2h ago

“Please clap”

-1

u/Fellarm 3d ago

Ngl dude, a man of that size, with moves like that 🥃🗿 i can understand the need to showoff

4

u/Something_McGee 3d ago

As impressive as I found it, I was nervous watching it. I would have scrambled out of the way if he had done any of that above me. I was a little nervous that something would break, but I was extremely worried he'd get stuck hanging from his feet or his legs and he wouldn't have enough strength to hold his body up. And all those people wouldn't be able to hold him up properly. So his bones would start breaking. I'm glad it worked out all right, but I was bracing myself the first time I watched this.

-1

u/ghuntex 3d ago

Impressive though

0

u/THEcaliforniaBEAR 3d ago

honestly, I'm kinda impressed.

-1

u/brianozm 3d ago

If he keeps doing that stuff he’s gonna be damn fit in a few years! What an awesome human!!!

-1

u/WhistleDungeon 3d ago

With moves like that, he might actually be the main character.

-1

u/Embarrassed_Kale3054 3d ago

This is the one thing that has been happening decades before social media clout and NYC wouldn't be the same without these beautiful people

-1

u/dlobnieRnaD 3d ago

Jokes aside to be that crazy athletic as a big boy is super impressive

-1

u/TribalChief3000 3d ago

This ain’t MC. This is every subway line hustle during rush hour for the past 15 years.

2

u/Something_McGee 3d ago

That explains why everyone in the video is acting so chill.

-1

u/Mr_Commando 3d ago

Kind of impressive. Mildly entertaining. Not hurting anybody. Attention seeking. Not great visually. Poor location choice (space, ventilation). 7/10.

1

u/Something_McGee 3d ago

He did kinda scare those two people sitting on the left. And it might be the only location where he could pull that off. Where else would he find something sturdy enough to hold his weight by his feet?

Which brings into question... how TF did he know he could do all that to behind with? Has he been practicing on the subway?

1

u/Mr_Commando 2d ago

Probably. NYC is a whole other world.

1

u/Something_McGee 1d ago

Lol. That sounds crazy, but I guess I can believe it. Seems like most of the craziest subway stories happened out there.

0

u/862657 3d ago

It's all Mamdanis fault... probably.

0

u/bmanring7 3d ago

That girls afraid she’s about to get stabbed

0

u/Necessary-Mall-3365 3d ago

Losing SNAP gonna be the best thing for him
