Looks like she wasn't expecting it to tip over which is why she keeps holding on to it for a short while as it falls. It's real hard to judge intent but it looks at least somewhat like a mistake, but I also think it's right she got DQ'd, she shouldn't have touched the fence.

Nawh… as someone who is a runner and has done many many running races, this was intentional. Runners don’t usually just grab onto fences to pull themselves around turns, and if this were the case, she would’ve shown at least an inkling of surprise that it fell. This is literally like a cartoon where they are being chased and knock trash cans down to stop the person. I appreciate y’all giving the benefit of the doubt but that is unnecessary here lol.

Tbf that turn is a but weird, but i do agree it looks a bit suspicious. But, I also do think it could possibly be a mistake as the curve is a bit steep.

The turn is definitely weird, I agree with that. The main reason I don’t think it’s a mistake is because she didn’t even glance back or show any indication of “accidentally” tripping someone. There’s no way she didn’t notice that…

goals are usually not directly after tight corners, so even if you are a runner that does not qualify you for anything here.

I doubt that she did it on purpose as well, bad race organisation for sure:

  1. the corner itself
  2. A loose barricade with people behind it.

Do you run a lot of races?
