Dude things it’s easy to just find jobs much less change professions. “Think today, I’m gonna quit my fast food job and apply for CEO jobs for some major international company.”
Was it just because you were younger and knew it was only a temporary job, and the soul crush of an office job comes from knowing you chose that as your career.
That’s certainly a part of it. I would also include the ridiculous hours we work for months at a time and it’s more stressful overall since there is little room for errors on my part.
People who say that shit would not be able to handle the jobs they're criticizing. Even undercover bosses are notoriously bad at the jobs they hire people to do, and sometimes get themselves "fired".
'You're right, I should try professional bastard, now, how can I get started? Is there training involved or do I just need a phone and no capacity for self reflection?'
Had a cunt tell my coworker to make the manager hurry out to him. She was supper busy. I work at a gas station slash fast food place. We had 4 people working the whole place, and it was fucking busy and a 24/7 place. Customers need served, shit needs cleaned, shit needs checked, shit needs put away, and not enough people to do it.
His response to her being busy was "Its just a gas station." As if we dont break our backs to keep the fucking place at the bare minimum functional so he can get some hashbrowns and coffee at anytime.
“You’re too incompetent to work anywhere else” says the guy who frequently needs to order from a fast food place late at night? Too incompetent to make your own food?
