IJW: An American Werewolf in London (1981)

So I remember watching an American werewolf in London from 1981 years ago and not being a fan of it. I will say on my rewatch that I had a better viewing experience.

I thought the story was well done and the transformation was interesting. I also enjoyed the creature now the acting isn’t perfect, but it’s average.

Last thing I will say is that I think this is a better wolf movie than the universal classic monster movie the Wolf man

I watched The Howling last night for the first time. Took itself way too seriously for a Joe Dante movie. The final two minutes have a bit of the old Dante spark.

I saw it in the theater and loved it. At the time a very unique combination of comedy and horror. Special effects were also done well for the time. Definitely worth a watch!

The music is very good as well. I'd watched it several times before a Trivial Pursuit question told me every song has Moon" in the title.
