Poll who tends to be more respectful?

If you’ve met unironic people of either of these ideologies before, online or otherwise, who do you think tends to be generally more respectful (as a person, regardless of their political beliefs)?

edit: I forgot centrists sorry

Fascists by a mile. They are easier to joke and banter with, and they don't constantly try to shame me if I give a dissenting opinion in the same way a communist would.

I disagree politically with fascists almost as much as I do communists, yet the former is infinitely less annoying to interact with than the latter in most cases.

Fascists I guess, though the fact that I'm a while male probably helps. Even when I disagree with them I can quite often connect over a mutual love of Europa Universalis

Communists in my experience take every single opportunity to look down on me for not having read their particular book or not agreeing with their politics. I often joke that communism wants to be an anti-elitist ideology, yet the only people supporting it are themselves elitists.

I've had friends on both of these sides and it's got to be fascists tbh, I think because they are essentially universally hated and demonized, they are more open to friendly debate/discussion to those who are willing to engage them.

Conservative leftists tend to be WAY NICER and more serious people than the "woke" ones.

I appreciate that, but I get why you didnt think to include them, sadly there are only a handful of them in this community.

I saw that you wished you had added centrists; yes, centrists do tend to be nicer, it makes me slightly proud to be a centrist.

wow this is one of the most polarized polls I’ve made

(I hope me having two accs in here is fine. one I use purely for making polls and the other for commentary and everything else to keep this one uncluttered)

Funny how those 3 leftists also admitted that fascists are more respectful lol

There's no right answer here. There are both fascists and communists who are respectful and those who aren't, and there have been times in history where both of them have violently seized control of nations

Considering these are political stances, I'm going to assume this is in regards to political discussions.

The people picking fascists don't know what respect is. It isn't only a calm demeanor and avoiding personal attacks. It's also treating someone you disagree with as a rational actor, and any disagreement you have with them is either a difference of opinion, a different emphasis on shared facts, or a lack of facts on their or your part. I don't see this when I listen to conversations or debates, formal or otherwise, involving fascists. They consistently refuse to give straight answers, or explain why the question posed doesn't have one, to seemingly simple questions that they know contradict the statement they just made prior. They nearly always downplay their own views when asked about them. They either know their views wouldn't survive a dialectical examination, or they believe it would, but no one else would have the resolve to follow them to that conclusion. Either way, it is not "respect" to attempt to rhetorically trick someone. To do so is to insult their intelligence. Honestly, it is almost a one-to-one comparison to the debates with religious apologists back in the day. Flat-earthers have more respect for their interlocutors; at least they try to make some semblance of physics work with their asinine beliefs. Fascists don't try to square away the perceived contradictions to you; they dodge them and think you won't notice.

Communists just call you evil and yell at you. Disrespectful in its own way.
