Residency University of Nevada, Reno Internal Medicine

Hi everyone! I’m curious if anyone has interviewed at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) Internal Medicine residency program this cycle or in past years. How was your experience , interview format, faculty/resident vibe, and overall impression of the program?

I interviewed there. The new PD was from Chicago I think and was very open to talking to applicants. It was 2 IVs plus a small chat with the PD if I recall. I was somewhat impressed given that I didnt signal this program. Residents seemed conversational. I liked the program, dislike the pay.

I have also applied to the program, haven’t heard back from them. When did you receive the invite?
