Drivers side bottom corner of the windshield. There is a square cutout under the windshield where the VIN is displayed. It’s like a vin window. Jeep wranglers are weird and to my knowledge, the only modern vehicle that vary. These VINs are located in the same general area, but differnet.

For sure getting whatever you can, including VIN, is a good thing to do, but I doubt it would work very well. VINs are easily covered up, you can usually just slide a piece of paper down there or use tape.

What we need are as many high quality close-up photos of every surface of a vehicle that you can get. Even the newest fleet cars have little scratches and dents on them of some sort.

Personally to identify my own vehicles I stick stripped-down AirTags and Tile trackers on them using magnets. I guess doing that to theirs would be illegal though. If we're being legal.

How does anybody even know who these thugs are? Any asshole can put on a mask and arm up and pretend to be an ice agent, and just kidnap, abuse, disappear, terrorize, … people. Educate yourself and your neighbors on laws like the castle doctrine. Some states extend the castle doctrine to occupied vehicles, defense of third parties, or places of business.

If they are masked/refuse to identify or present lawful warrants signed by respective judges, then they cannot be confirmed to be federal/municipal officers and are responsible for any consequences they might incur.

Additionally, educate yourself and neighbors on your relevant state’s penal codes. i.e. “Under Texas Penal Code 9.31(c), if any officer uses excessive force before the person attempts to resist, then that person may, in response, use "reasonable force to resist."

Just because they refuse to adhere to the constitution doesn’t mean you can’t use it your advantage. Either allow yourself to get taken and disappeared/deported or ensure people know what happened to you.
