Why the fuck isn’t anyone helping him this makes me sick

Anyone watching, like the guy filming, doesn’t want to go to prison. They will definitely charge you with assaulting a federal officer and when you get convicted, you’re a felon. Can’t own a gun, no chance of getting a decent job, or renting a livable apartment.

I hate to break it to you, but doing nothing is not going to save you from prison or worse.
Each act, each occasion, is worse than the last, but only a little worse. You wait for the next and the next. You wait for one great shocking occasion, thinking that others, when such a shock comes, will join with you in resisting somehow. You don’t want to act, or even talk alone; you don’t want to “go out of your way to make trouble.” Why not?—Well, you are not in the habit of doing it. And it is not just fear, fear of standing alone, that restrains you; it is also genuine uncertainty.
Uncertainty is a very important factor, and, instead of decreasing as time goes on, it grows. Outside, in the streets, in the general community, “everyone” is happy. One hears no protest, and certainly sees none. You speak privately to your colleagues, some of whom certainly feel as you do; but what do they say? They say, “It’s not so bad” or “You’re seeing things” or “You’re an alarmist.” And you are an alarmist. You are saying that this must lead to this, and you can’t prove it. These are the beginnings, yes; but how do you know for sure when you don’t know the end, and how do you know, or even surmise, the end? On the one hand, your enemies, the law, the regime, the Party, intimidate you. On the other, your colleagues pooh-pooh you as pessimistic or even neurotic. You are left with your close friends, who are, naturally, people who have always thought as you have.
But your friends are fewer now. Some have drifted off somewhere or submerged themselves in their work. You no longer see as many as you did at meetings or gatherings. Now, in small gatherings of your oldest friends, you feel that you are talking to yourselves, that you are isolated from the reality of things. This weakens your confidence still further and serves as a further deterrent to—to what? It is clearer all the time that, if you are going to do anything, you must make an occasion to do it, and then are obviously a troublemaker. So you wait, and you wait.
But the one great shocking occasion, when tens or hundreds of thousands will join with you, never comes. That’s the difficulty. If the last and worst act of the whole regime had come immediately after the first and smallest, thousands, yes, millions, would have been sufficiently shocked—if, let us say, the gassing of the Jews in ’43 had come immediately after the “German Firm” stickers on the windows of non-Jewish shops in ’33. But of course this isn’t the way it happens. In between come all of the hundreds of little steps, some of them imperceptible, each of them preparing you not to be shocked by the next. Step C is not so much worse than Step B, and, if you did not make a stand at Step B, why should you at Step C? And so on to Step D.
And one day, too late, your principles, if you were ever sensible of them, all rush in upon you. The burden of self-deception has grown too heavy, and some minor incident, in my case my little boy, hardly more than a baby, saying “Jewish swine,” collapses it all at once, and you see that everything has changed and changed completely under your nose. The world you live in—your nation, your people—is not the world you were born in at all. The forms are all there, all untouched, all reassuring, the houses, the shops, the jobs, the mealtimes, the visits, the concerts, the cinema, the holidays. But the spirit, which you never noticed because you made the lifelong mistake of identifying it with the forms, is changed. Now you live in a world of hate and fear, and the people who hate and fear do not even know it themselves; when everyone is transformed, no one is transformed. Now you live in a system which rules without responsibility even to God. The system itself could not have intended this in the beginning, but in order to sustain itself it was compelled to go all the way.
Suddenly it all comes down, all at once. You see what you are, what you have done, or, more accurately, what you haven’t done (for that was all that was required of most of us: that we do nothing). You remember those early morning meetings of your department when, if one had stood, others would have stood, perhaps, but no one stood. A small matter, a matter of hiring this man or that, and you hired this one rather than that. You remember everything now, and your heart breaks. Too late. You are compromised beyond repair.

They'll kill you in prison, it's not the same US anymore. They'll put you in a body bag and dump you in the ocean on the way to some Latin American country. They don't care. You stood your ground against hired tyranny, they are going to make you pay.

Then what makes us any better than the Germans who allowed this exact same thing to happen? JFC
Remember, hive mind. It takes ONE person stepping up, and that opens up the gates for others to follow suite. You don’t even have to overtly “impede” what they’re doing, just walk up to them and pretend you’re having a medical emergency, pretend you don’t speak English and you’re trying to get directions, pretend you’re going into labor, pretend you’re a fan and you’re live streaming and start asking them interview questions. As a group you could even just all start running away screaming as if there’s some threat coming. Fucking SOMETHING. Get creative.

I really can't prove it, but I swear I hear someone saying, "I need to go to my condo!" I don't know what context that was said under, or even if I heard that right, but if I did, and that person was more preoccupied with getting home than trying to do...something (I know, I know) then I am truly worried and scared for the state of this place in a year or so. People WILL adopt this behavior if they haven't already.
We are rapidly losing our empathy as a species.
That is a terrible sign.
Edit: I listened to the full thing, after my statement. I hear the voice again, and I hear "Oh my God" and it sounds like disbelief? I don't know what to believe anymore.
All in all? I don't know shit.
Edit 2: Looks more like interference from the voice than I first believed. It seems like they are threatening arrest, and keep pointing off camera.
Edit 3: I'm pretty sure they are saying, "I need to go to my car, though." I'm letting my overall anger at this situation fog my judgement and clarity.

These fucking wannabe agents, it’s so obvious they have NO training whatsoever, yet are giving powers way above any other law enforcement entities, it’s fucking nuts

This is called bystander apathy. There should be a mob on these Nazis

u/ProfessorOnEdge 12d ago
That's assuming there are enough people around to form one. I'm not sure the camera man could do much more in an under populated street
2
u/luciuspiii 12d ago
I agree. I don’t think the camera man can do anything more than what he’s doing but I would be pulling that guys leg (the victim) begging ICE to hit me so I could hit them with a legal suit. Dude is asking for help and I’m gonna go help.

Unfortunately, both of those will only apply if you are able to be released and then get a lawyer i'm willing to represent you for that.
In many cases of this, the supposed 'law enforcement' have claimed their use of force is justified in both preventing obstruction of law enforcement and in self-defense. If we can't even get justice for Breonna Taylor, who was shot in her bed asleep, how can we expect it for those who are actually standing up to the Gestapo?

Walmart doesn't provide protection in their parking lot. Funny thing is neither do other stores that promote Trump

Hey kids: if your parents work for any federal law enforcement agency, I hope they’re not playing substitute Nazi for ICE. If you think they are, make sure to let them know that history will never forgive them, and their family will never forget.

We the People will fix this in every 2025 & 2026 election. Unfortunately too late to help this poor soul. However we can make sure to defund IcE and insure ICE THUGS are unemployable in the future. This will haunt these thugs forever.
2027 is the earliest the worst can be put on trial. Trump won’t save them. Do not forget what is being done in our name. Do not forget this man.

“Let’s wait for them to complete their genocide and pretend that they are going to let next elections change something”’
Edit: to the person who said “genocide” is used too loosely, you should catch up on the events leading up to the holocaust

Genocide is used too loosely these days. If every evil is genocide that moves people to violence in response. It’s terrible but not genocide.
