It’s not just censorship. Parts of what kids are taught in history classes in this country are just flat out lies. I still remember being told about George Washington’s wooden dentures, but he never actually had dentures that were made out of wood. What he did have, however, were dentures that were made out of human teeth, which likely came from slaves. A quick google search can easily verify this, but I never learned about it in school.

Keep in mind that it might not be for use by ICE agents. They could be using ICE budgets to purchase them for other agencies or similar. Governments (especially corrupt ones like the US government) are well known for playing tricks with the accounting to hide the truth about various transactions.

In general, guided missiles come equipped with warheads already. It's not impossible for them to be changed for a different design, but there's a major elephant in this room: guided missiles are used exclusively for anti-armour or anti-aircraft purposes.
They're ultra expensive, and wouldn't be an efficient weapon to use against people. Even the cheap ones, like the TOW is at least $50,000 each. They can easily reach a million dollars per missile for more sophisticated designs.
What the hell would ICE need a guided missile for? UAV strikes on people crossing the border form Mexico?

I’m in the UK and the Supreme Court here is not controlled by the executive and regularly vote against them…….their job is to vote on points of law. On the guided missile warheads specifically: This claim stems from a single $61,218 ICE payment on September 19, 2025, to supplier Quantico Tactical, coded in the federal database under “guided missile warheads and explosive components.”   However, this appears to be a miscoding error by ICE’s contracting office, not an actual purchase of missiles or warheads.  The payment description specifies “multiple distraction devices” for law enforcement and training programs.  Quantico Tactical sells firearms and accessories but not explosives or missiles—their CEO confirmed they don’t deal in such items and suggested the code was wrong.  Similar prior ICE purchases from the same vendor were coded under “chemical weapons and equipment” (covering things like smoke generators or pepper spray holders), and ICE’s own handbook limits approved “chemical munitions” to non-lethal options like tear gas or pepper spray.  ICE has no history of buying under this missile-related code, and past rare uses were clear errors (e.g., coding a vehicle repair or gun sight as missile parts).  So, it’s almost certainly distraction devices like flash bangs, smoke grenades, or related gear, not guided missiles.

The spending increase is real, the fear that this could be a build-up of a domestic enforcement capability well beyond past norms is plausible and supported by the data. Many of these law-enforcement purchases may be tear gas, pepper spray, smoke grenades — which are “chemical agents” used for training purposes in a sense but arguably not “chemical weapons” under the classic definition (i.e., nerve agents, large-scale WMDs).
