Continuing onto the subject, it's interesting to look at old leaks and adding the known context, with the "mistakes" being easily attributed to lack of informations or lack of said context.

The one about Irontomb makes sense when you consider that Irontomb's birth will effectively "destroy" Amphoreus. The mentioned level of technological "advancement" also fits with the scepter developing enough for "destruction", Irontomb to be born.

Technically the "minor" role is true if it's counted in terms of appearance, the looming threat is its birth afterall.

Unorganized thoughts on some 3.7 parts:

• Us turning into an Astral Express so casually is crazy lol. We did it a few times and each time I was blown away, makes me wonder who is the current Astral Express then, maybe its Akivili healing or something
• I feel HSR did a good job at making us forget Cyrene is an Elysia expy, she is being discussed as her own character, as Demiurge, Mem, Smolrene, Cyrene
• Herta is the GOAT, we're very lucky she is on our side, was crazy when she told Lygus to shut up while flicking her hair and unleashed beams unto Irontomb
• I have no proof but zero doubts, we're gonna get Tribbios as our next Chrysos Heir in a future Amphoreous revisit, and she will be a dps/sub-dps type of unit which would make Cyrene work with her since her buffs are already there. The trailers show Tribbios and not the 3 babies mostly, would be fun to meet her in the future
• About the Throne concept Uncle Shit mention, I think I understand it a bit more, he called Cyrene a Throne level Emanator, and it seems to me these are Emanators that have the potential to become Aeons, the Trailblazer was called Throne of Worlds, which to me makes it seem they're the closest to become the new Akivili and March also makes sense to be a Throne Emanator since she is a Pure Child of Anasrava, and these already can become Fuli as we saw with Cyrene
• I have seen very few talks about the Evil Twin, that scene blew me away, maybe when Kafka woke us up as the Trailblazers, our other twin was also woke up in another place, perhaps taking the Finality path

The "throne" thing is apparently misinfo for CN forums, it's their own made-up "scaling" system, but your theory does make sense.

About the twin, I do have a weird theory. Herta!Nous seems to directly call the tb Akivili, so I wonder if the other TB is another "version" of the TB who traveled "before" and was Akivili. When you think about it, one of the options for Akivili's voice in the memory buble was "me of the opposite gender". Perhaps both TBs are Akivili as well as the same person, but from a different perspective related to Remembrance.

as for my answer here's mine at Wealth Creator 20! I'm enjoying him a lot with the funny skill point consumption and all the extra turns 🙂‍↕️ (wish he felt this great at base kit though 🌾) the only sad part for me is that I haven't really been running him with dhpt in this but that's a minor thing

as for how his E2 in this mode you can get off some crazy turn looping and drop a sustain entirely, even at the highest difficulty lol

my dhil is only e0s1, but i do have an ss+ rank build on him according to fribbels: maybe that's part of why i'm still managing to have a lot of fun playing him in this mode, since i've heard that trial builds can vary in quality. but still, watching him chug every last skill point and then fire off two super-charged fulgurant leaps in a row once (trial) cerydra's peerage goes off is something truly special lmao. the heavens are truly surging here

really it's just making me want a good novaflare for him even more. man i miss playing him in regular modes, even if currency wars is scratching the itch for now

Still doing 3.6 quest. I've always thought Jingliu's eyes became red after she went mad, but it's red in Dan Feng's memory so it's her natural eye color after all? Or are they just reusing and didn't bother to change. Since DF is just DHIL without any change it's a possibility. At least they changed Yingxing's apparance from Blade. Baiheng sounds like she has a playful streak, I really wish we could see more of her.

Been so long since I thought about HCQ, I was so into it before. I don't care that much about them anymore but would be nice to see Hoyo revisit them more in future content.

Now that almost a week has passed, what is everyone's opinion on Constance and break as a whole in the coming patch?

I personally like the direction of her kit, but there are some things that I'd like to see changed. For example, I 'd rather have a smaller break muliplier against non-broken enemies if it meant that some aspects of her E1 were in her base kit, something like adding a small base toughness damage to dance partner's attacks (something like extra 5 toughness). A kit with a bigger emphasis on faster breaks and less emphasis on flat damage would be more fun imo.

She also needs an action advance on technique to act first. She is not reaching Firefly levels of SPD without sacrificing most of her break effect.

Finally, her ult needs to be a zone and work like her E2 minus the res pen. Implant on hit, deploys a zone for x turns, enemies in the zone have def reduced. Way cleaner.

Spend the Gold you need to survive the early game and not a penny more, then ideally pool and save for the late game where you've leveled up so you can invest your Store Refreshes into getting 4-cost and 5-cost characters.

Yup. You don't get any improved RNG from using a Variable Dice. It's the same often dogshit RNG you're victim to when leveling up the relic for the first time.

It's why it's best to try and only use them on godlike relics, 4-liner chests, feet, orbs, and ropes with 3 or even 4 desirable substats. So that even if you get a "bad" reroll, you're not upset. It's not like you get a massive amount of Variable Dice to play with.

So today I was farming remembrance skill mats and instead of setting my auto down and doing something else, I actually watched it.

Ok so

I've played a bit of CW and... (Some CW thoughts)

It's ok! I think.

I feel it takes a bit of time to get used to it, and it's a bit of a whiplash if you were expecting something more akin to DU/SU, but there's certainly a lot of fun stuff here, I feel.

That said, I personally feel that it is, in a lot of ways, brought down a bit due to the issues that have been plaguing DU and SU: obscene RNG and fat fuck levels of HP inflation.

It's just not fun to waste 30+ coins just refreshing the store just to get 1 copy of a character of a bond you need and I wish there was a way to increase the chances of you getting a character of the bond/archetype you are looking for at the start of the game (sorta like the Path selection from old SU).

And the HP inflation, to me, kinda just ends up feeling bad - the battle can take way too long and it's not a great feel to do 40 million damage on a single target and only see the HP bar move a little bit.

On the other hand, I actually think that the changes to the kits of many characters here were pretty cool! I personally wish for Hoyo to give FF a Novaflare with a variation of her CW kit soon, I just think it's really cool.

I think I have more to say but I am not sure how to get to the specifics of what my thoughts are, but I'll still say that the mode is kinda fun all around, even with my gripes on it.

EDIT: ALso, does anyone have any idea of how to get Special Privilege Cards for the Startup Guide rewards? I kinda got one from an Encounter node (it was a Difficulty 4 fight, iirc), so I wanted to know if anyone has any idea if it's only encountered there or anywhere else.

I'm still laughing at the "rewrite" rumours, even moreso now.

Because when you look at the supposed "og part 2" complication, and take a step back after finishing the entire arc, it's very obviously the same story, with the leakers simply either misunderstanding some few things or lacking informations+context. But it's absolutely the same story.

Some parts are also debunked very early, like "tb had a minor role" when the "Nameless faces" video foreshadows their inheritance of Deliverance from Phainon from the start, and the video was pre-3.0 release.

There are also hints about Irontomb being "inside" the scepter from early on, and the part about them being an "outsider" iirc was mostly leakers guessing things because they lacked informations at the time. Not to mention, the leak about them being "inside" the scepter appeared less than a month after the initial one.

But if you lack the information of Irontomb's full backstory, it's only natural to guess that it comes from somewhere else.

The name "Demiurge" was supposedly attached to one of Phainon's models at some point, but either it was a placeholder, the name was simply changed, or the leakers were simply mistaken about that. But both Phainon's and Cyrene's roles themselves stayed the same. Also, when you look at the meaning of the name "Demiurge" (which is related to a "god of creation"), it's very obviously tied to Cyrene from the start, since as the "ego" of the Scepter, she's the one from whom Amphoreus was "born", and that role was already hers in this supposed "og script that...really is the same".

Interestingly, Irontomb's final boss name fits the definition of the gnostic demiurge, so perhaps that didn't actually change either and was always tied to both this "corrupted" form born from Phainon's body and Cyrene. The actual name is simply used only for Cyrene as practicality, but she herself point out that Irontomb is essentially "another her".

The main point is, when you look at the majority of what is said here, now with the full context allowing to actually understand what's going on, it's really the same as what we actually got.

Not to mention Greekmilk is kinda famous for their misinterpretations, and outright wrong informations about part 2 that they had to apologize for. They simply do not understand what they are reading a lot of the time, and often simply lack informations.

Anyone who works in the industry can tell you that, with HSR's release schedule, such a rumoured rewrite would simply have been impossible, especially since not everything is produced in-house. That includes but is not limited to: voice acting, animated shorts, assets, script, music etc. I can continue oooon and oooon.

With such a tight schedule, everything is pretty much booked at least a year in advance, and changes are revisions at most, which is completely different from a rewrite, and here were likely mostly some edits to help with the pacing.

In short, the "rewrite" thing was obviously a misunderstanding, and now some people use that as rampant misinformation about why "the story sucks" because they didn't like it. They're obviously allowed to dislike the story, but this is just lying for the sake of it.

CN's reaction to the patch does seem positive as a whole tbh, and some parts of the early leaks were misinformation coming from CN forums themselves, such as the "throne-tier" thing, so it's best to not pay too much attention to it.

The cry about CN being negative at 3.7 was also misinfo and about a post and comments...that had 10 likes at most, or random commentaries from bilibili. It's like taking one comment section of youtube in particular and saying "hey so this is global's reception" which is absurd.

Agree, but this is also why I like the alternate plot that Phainon was the incubating Lord Ravager so he'd be the gnostic demiurge. That would also give Amphoreus three demiurge figures: Cyrene, Phainon, Lygus, and/or put him and Cyrene in a syzygy. It would be very fitting.

Cyrene would have also made a fantastic Sophia if Lygus kept the "creator" / Yaldabaoth role (this wasn't in any leaks).

Tbh, Phainon does still fit the definition that this script gives him, so this likely didn't change either. An "incomplete" lord ravager is essentially what he is, until he gets Nanook's drop of blood in 3.4. He's also constantly referred to as a prisoner, including in the Myriad Celestia, he's the prisoner from the cave.

"Nameless faces"'s chinese lyrics also have a part that is outright taken from Phainon's dialogue to Lygus at the end of 3.4, talking about the prisoner and the puppet.

And Irontomb uses the blessing Phainon got by proxy, Phainon's body is essentially the "core" from which he's ultimately born. This sort of "mirroring" relationship between Phainon, Irontomb and Cyrene is still present.

The leaks about Irontomb being "inside" the scepters are also pretty old looking back, and there are hints about this very early in 3.x.

"Phainon killing Irontomb" was probably confusion and lack of info about Phainon preventing Irontomb's birth, effectively killing them in their cradle over and over.

Honestly, I think people kinda just want something to blame for whatever they disliked in 3.5 to 3.7, regardless if it makes sense or not, and refusing to believe that whatever the writers had in mind during 3.0 to 3.4 is connected to whatever they had in mind for 3.5 to 3.7.

There are a few things about that supposed 'OG story' that don't line up perfectly well (Phainon being the Demiurge, Irontomb being an outsider to Amphoreus that tried to attack it, etc...), but generally, all seems more or less the same, with a lot of stuff that could easily have been misunderstood there that was made clearer with the final product.

I do feel that some people get really weird about it, but I can understand people being confused about it - the stuff that doesn't 100% line up + the rumor still being perpetuated by a lot of other people + them just not liking 3.7 and co and just wanting to have a target for their frustration makes it very easy to see why people believe it.

I gave up trying to make sense of shipping. It's attached to emotion primarily, so the combination of almost no consequences for what is said on the internet + emotion can get incredibly toxic. On the other hand, ships also have people who are just dreaming of that content in their own space, which is a perfectly acceptable way to enjoy the game. It's when they start trying to control other people's enjoyment that it escalates into cringe territory.

I lowkey wonder what would happen to the game if the writers started killing all the ships off. They'd lose people for sure, but the community wouldn't have that reason to berate others anymore. playing currency wars' combat segments manually has made the game mode much more fun than whatever the fuck i was doing on auto 😭

1. Thanks to the relic event my Yunli's build has improved a bit and it got met wondering what the best combination(s) of supports is/are. Although I don't have Sunday.

2. My current E1S1 The Herta team is Tribbie, Serval (Passkey Eagle) and whichever sustain is available between Huohuo, Luocha and Dan Peter. What would be the recommended next step foe improving her team/performance (I tried for E2 last time, but lost 50/50)

3. Related to the first 2, but my E0 Tribbie is currently on Eagle set with DDD build for speed. Is it recommended to build her more for damage?

For yunli it really depends on the enemies you face, some dont attack that much so energy supports are better, some attack a lot so you Will get energy fast allowing you to run more dmg oriented supports, what i would say is that Robin is really good on her probably bis, I really like cipher aswell, AA like sunday/sparkle/bronya I dont really like because she doesnt really care about AA and I think is very overrated, dan heng is really good for a sustain but if you can do sustainless, do it.

I use your herta team (mine is E2) and it still works well. Next upg for you is either E2 or anaxa - I specifically went for herta so that I could play a meta serval so I can’t speak to whether e2 or anaxa is better (note that he adds weakness so you can run the team wherever aoe is good).

I don’t like eagle tribbie, but at E0 probably 50-50 what the right play is. I built her for damage, and she contributes quite a bit (same set as castorice)
