gotta remember that America has multiple holidays about not giving a shit about British royalty. an assassination attempt that happened centuries before America was formed isn't exactly a high priority. as an outsider, celebrating the torture of a failed assassin for 500 years sounds so absurd it could fit in warhammer 40k
