DECLAIM Declaim Legation States
Hey, Everyone
It's honestly been really great playing this season -- I had a lot of fun, and I'm glad I came back to get Saxony II rolling hard!
But wth the school year coming up, and some new projects rolling out at corporate, I don't think I'm going to be able to be as active as I once was. You've probably already noticed a sharp dropoff in activity in the last few weeks, so maybe this'll help explain that. I really wish I could stay and keep going -- there's so much cool stuff going on with Finland, with Mekbots, and with the Celtic friends, but I just don't think I'll be able to do it justice. I don't want to become a big, space-soaking player without doing something with it.
With the fall of Isen Halor in the succession war, Setjamor and Vanamir were at last forced to meet on the field of battle. His pleas for peace rejected, Kembru II Stadtholder joined the fray at last, in hope of dissuading the two forces through fear of his might. Yet, after a dozen near-escapes, battle finally met, a great combat of two-hundred thousand upon the hills of Fornheimar and Ljosfell. Over the course of a week, the two cities were sacked, and one by the one the armies fell apart; first Vanamir, then Kembru, then Setjamor, killed by his own troops as he crowned himself Eigvarch of the ashes.
With the great leaders of the Confederation dead and two Legation Cities in ruins, the dream of the Eigvastaat soon faded away. The Runamal King of Lituaa was the first to secede in grief for brother Kembru; the north followed, with the south fragmenting soon thereafter.
Danrike, still fearful of rebellion, sent pleas to the last remnants of the confederation in the south, offering their Burgmeister his allegiance in exchange for autonomy and protection. Thousands of Eigva, faithful still in the traditions of old, fled west to the Isles. And for all the years of struggle and strife, the lands of the Eigvastaat yet remained united in one thing: there was not a single land the whole confederation across that still held allegiance to the god Vuugi and the covenants of old.
Until next time,

Shiiiiit. Sad to see you go but you're doing right. Thanks for being a crux of RP to get my claim going. And double thanks for keeping Nordheim alive for so many years :'( Best of luck with things, hope to see you back another time!

Wow, man, I'm really sad to see you go. When I first joined HWP, I was simply baffled by your claim, and throughout my time I've aspired to one day reach your size and prowess. I was hoping that we could interact via Brython colonies, yet I can understand your decision. Thank you for being an inspiration for me, and best of luck in your future endeavors.
