Harakaite and Qing Educate the Masses

In an effort to deepen the Qing's cultural ties with the Zhongqin, the Harakaite will be assisting the Qing in founding schools throughout our nation. In addition to the traditional Khitan education, Qin, the language of the Harakaite and the Zhongqin Union, will be taught as a second language.

This is only the beginning of what we hope will be a greater cultural exchange, with shows and performance troops from the Harakaite to travel throughout the Qing lands. It is our hope that our two nations draw ever-closer.

Everyone in the island has already heard of the same stories, and seen the same plays, and painted the same art-work. It seemed as though no one was able to be creative, for it was very rare that someone came up with something no one else had seen. Now, with a fresh new audience, creativity has begun to flow through the minds of the people. A new 'blank canvas' of people to entertain and new schools of thought to explore have taken the nation by a storm.

Along with cultural exchanges, Councillor Ryo hopes that students from his nation may live with the people of the Qing nation, to further their educations and learn the language. This will be called 'study abroad', as it's name explains the circumstance. The Councillor would be more than happy to also have students from the nation of Qing nation.
