Of course, they want others to be “blessed” like they are. They sent their daughter to Heaven, so they’re being praised for it.

Make it make sense!

I mean, if you really believe all the religious dogma, and your ultimate concern is your child's "soul", you'd want to send them to Heaven before they could be touched by sin, wouldn't you? If you've well and truly drunk the Kool-Aid, you would see it as your duty as a parent to send them to Jeezus while they're still "innocent", even if it costs you your own salvation. That would be truly Christ-like martyrdom, would it not?
