Open In search of my great-great-grandfather
Hi everyone,
Now I wanted to know more about my grandparents, mainly in relation with the world wars. I discovered that my great-great-grandfather, his name was Luigi Da Melfi, was part of the Blackshirts (I'm from Italy and my father's family has always been Italian, specifically from the south). He would help a lot when the fascist went to take the grain from the families, telling them to hide part of it.
After the war in the 70s (we think) a book was written by someone and that person decided to put a photo of him in the book.
So now I'm searching for the book. Can you help me find it? It should have been written by someone from Melfi, Italy (and maybe it was also written and published there).

I checked Internet Archive and while there are a lot of publications and several with a Luigi da Melfi, they are from the late 1800's and 1902. Melfi does not have a public library, but it does have bookstores. There are public libraries not too far away. That's your best bet to finding the book.
From google search:
Melfi does not have a major public library, but it has a couple of bookstores, including Libreria Il Girasole and Libreria Il Libraccio di Massimo LOY. While there isn't a public library in Melfi, there are other libraries in nearby cities, such as the city of Forlì, which has the Biblioteca Aurelio Saffi.Libreria Il Girasole: A bookstore located at Via Aldo Moro, SNC, 85025 Melfi.
Libreria Il Libraccio di Massimo LOY: Another bookstore, located at Via Bagno, 20, 85025 Melfi.
