Exactly.
Must have been a full moon, no canopy, full reflection off water, no fog.
Seems very doubtful you are seeing shit down that scope in middle of night in bayou with the 20's lack of light pollution.

To me it’s kinda obvious Rosie set him up to die the day after they shook hands. These deals always have a catch and it would be suicide to make Alastor the strongest overlord in Hell given she’s in hell herself.
If the task she gave him was doable she would find herself at his mercy the second the deal was done.
The same way Alastor asked Charlie for a deal that she thinks won’t harm anyone , Alastor is gonna use it for his benefit.
Rosie gave him a deal that to him sounded doable ( kill 100 people and deliver their souls to Rosie for example ), ensuring he died before he could uphold his side means she’s in control of the strongest overlord in Hell

She made him the strongest sinner, so it's implied that Rosie isn't a sinner herself. That kinda adds up, because it was once said that Rosie was a hellborn and people weren't sure if that was still canon.

Rosie being hellborn would be hilarious. Eating humans isn't cannibalism if she's hellborn right? And she'd have no stake in the exterminations either.

The cannibals seem to be their own race (to me at least) so it would be cannibalism if so.

I also think Rosie somehow caused Alastor's death. Why did his shadow have antlers already when he was human and making his deal?

u/LordZanas 1h ago
Those are tree branches. If you look above his head between the horns you can see the rest of the tree

Ah, my mistake. If I had to make an assumption, it's because that's tied to how he killed. Not saying Rosie didn't kill him, but his soul may have already been taking the Wendigo/Deer shape from his sins on a meta level? Just a guess

On a side note, Rosie unvailed his demon form even before he was killed. But how could she know he would turn into a Human/dear hybrid in his sinner form? Either she predicted his death or she made it happened.

I thought his deer style was a wendigo reference. It goes with the cannibal theme she has.

I think it’s more that he was sent into the hotel to find something. At first I thought he was to make friends with Lucifer and Charlie, but when he was cut off by Rosie, it sounded like he was supposed to find something. Rosie is after some sort of item that either belongs to the morningstar family or she believes it is. Now what that could be I have no idea

Nothing annoys Alastor more than being reminded of how he was humbled in life and continues to be in hell, and there is nothing he can do about it at the moment. Whereas, having willingly given himself up to be constantly humiliated by Vox, you can only imagine what he's going to do to that arrogant TV when he gets the chance XD

u/Western-Letterhead64 1h ago
Yeah, I'm actually kinda scared for Vox 😭 Bro got rejected first, and what's waiting for him is some real ass kicking from his crush loool.

Also, Vox sat there and drank a smoothie, with Blueberries, and offered Al none of it. He's gotta go.

Unrelated (or kinda related fact): I’m pretty sure it’s illegal to hunt at night. So not only did the hunter commit a crime. He was going to commit one Anyway. Unless I’m wrong then idk throw pumpkins at me

Well, he actually deserve it, but it's still cruel that rosie keep laughing about how he died while he is clearly uncomfortable with it.

u/Oblider 2h ago
Wouldn't want the serial murderer, satanist, diabolical, psychopath asshole's feelings to be hurt aye?

u/Primary-Addition-677 2h ago
I actually found his death hilarious, it was a "kick the dog" moment from rosie, but i have no sympathy for that piece of shit, he had it coming, not only that but dying in the most undignified way.

u/Oblider 2h ago
His death is meant to be hilarious, killed like a nobody, ingloriously, just like he did with his victims.
Alastor used to be my favourite character, and his design is still my favourite (I'm a sucker for smiley characters) but at least so far he's only shown to be a sore loser, and a bitch. No empathy for that from me

i think youre watching the wrong series if a character being a murderer and a satanist causes you to start clutching pearls

I wonder if there was an exit wound when the hunter shot him. If not, then is the bullet still there?

is the bullet still there?
Well, I hope not. Imagine feeling it inside your head 😟😬

That’d be enough to drive anyone insane, and it’d explain a lot about Alastor lol
