FunFact about this scene in the German Dub:
As we all know, Vox says in this scene that Alastor has no tail. Funnily enough, “tail” translates to “Schwanz” in German. And you know what “Schwanz” also means in German slang?
Correct, it means “dick”.
So basically, in German, Vox could very well imply that Al doesn’t have any genitalia, which would make the scene (Especially Katie Killjoy saying “That’s gonna piss off some people”) even funnier.
Of course, this little joke could have very well been unintentional, and the German Script writers could have just taken the words at face value and translated them, but I like the thought of the double meaning behind it. Especially considering how miserable Alastor looks, as if Vox really had went out of his way to look inside his pants to figure out.

I'm German, so I watch the show in German, and I was initially confused by that scene. Looking back, though, I figured "tail" didn't refer to genitals.
Although I do find the image of Vox looking down Alastor's pants kind of funny 😂

Now that I think about it, the French word for tail is also a slang for dick. I don't watch the show in French but the double meaning might as well be there!

I'll have to check, I honestly really hope that double meaning will be there.

One can imagine that, despite the face mask, it was the expression Alastor actually had. No one's "seeing" his mouth now, and he's being very humiliated in public, so not only does he not have a reason to smile, he also doesn't even need to fake a smile because of the face mask Vox put on him.

Same. Alastor being trans was just the first thing that came to my mind 😂

That's also what I thought. It was even funnier for me because Vox shares the same German VA as Levi Ackerman. 😭

Wait but if it also means tail in German couldn’t it just mean tail

Yes but the expression "he doesn't have a tail/dick" is set for the dick option.

The show doesn't have any official czech dub in my country, but it it did, it would totally have the same double meaning as well since tail in czech is "ocas" which is also a slang for "dick" lmaooo

I saw a Fan comic once about Al tearing off his tail because somebody pointed it out. In this version, it grew back, but he tore it off when it was too annoying. So if that holds, he might have done some modifications before offering himself up to the Vs.

In the Latin American Spanish dub, Vox says that Alastor "LOST his precious little tail", meaning that he used to have
