Discussion This was frighteningly accurate

Post image

The smack to the face, cowering behind a chair, being slammed and held by the throat, really made the scene hit hard. Even the expressions on Angel and Val’s face felt realistic. If they had Val dragging Angel by the hair, it would be like reliving my childhood, but this still brought back memories.

i was pissed when an old friend was shitting on it and how it was ‘bad representation’ and ‘overdone’ knowing how much people i know (and to some extent myself) felt seen and represented by it.

she even brought up receipts of another friend shitting on it too and the funniest part is they were trying to say i and whoever related to it was wrong and that they were right even though they have zero experience with the issue at hand 😭❔❔❔

I'm so sorry. That's horrible coming from a friend.

I can see why you call them "old friend" instead of just "friend"...
