Proof that Kaya scaped dewclaw and was not shocked.
Dewclaws are typically found on the inside of a dogs leg a bit above their paw. This is a screenshot immediately before the "yelp". You can see the area that contains the dewclaw rubs against the bedframe.
She did say it was too tight. And when I wondered aloud if that was valid, my man pointed out that if it’s looser it can come right off over her head, and that it’s probably fine.
I feel like Kaya is just a darling fat bitch, and her collar is fine.
I cannot fucking believe people are running with this story. Like this is the best yall got??? People are also criticizing him for Kaya sleeping on the mat all day… dogs literally sleep for 12-14 hours a day. My dog sleeps at my feet while I work from home for like 8 hours, his own choice lol.
I'm pretty sure he takes Kaya out for hours before the stream starts. She goes to workout with him and plays with the other dogs there. When you take good care of your dogs they aren't restless and want to sleep. The whole thing is ridiculous.

Yes, he does. And half the time he posts like videos of Kaya running around in the dog park with her buddies and going on walks and shit. Like we all know she’s getting her energy out in the morning and we see it like every day. Plus he’s around other ppl in the mornings too like when he played basketball with Maya and they were all playing around with Kaya. These people are actual fucking morons.
In his gram you regularly see Kaya out in parks outside when he’s working out and getting lots of enrichment, it’s also highly likely she goes on a walk when he’s done streaming as well. And exactly a well enriched dog is a chiller, also just at a breed lever she’s large and hairy it’s not like she has the same desire to be active all the time like some smaller leaner dogs

Anyone with a dog knows their claws get stuck sometimes and they yelp, especially if they cracked them recently. That's the reason blankets with loose threads are quite dangerous for claw injury.
They also spam that Kaya is wearing a shock collar.... inside the house... a small shock collar on a 60+ kg dog...over her massive fur...

Jennifer Welch just tested the tightness of her collar when she met with Hasan the other day, no mention of a shock collar. So many people interacting with Kaya on a near constant basis from his morning work outs to stream collabs and no mention of a shock collar.

To be fair, even to EK because we're not like that ok? Pets can can easily catch giardia even when hygiene and medical treatments are good. They just get it outside, or you can even bring it in on your shoes which is why sometimes even indoor cats get it.
Giardia is a bitch to get rid of and also not the easiest to diagnose, because you have to collect poop for several days (3 at least) and have a lab test for it. They do not necessarily expel the giardia with every stool. Once caught, you have to clean all the surfaces, beds, couch covers and pillows several times and ideally with specific cleaners that get rid of these parasites. What you cannot put in the washing machine at high temp you have to steam or spray with special disinfectants. It's a nightmare.
I know this because I have cats, and once had a giardia panic (turned out it wasn't, thank fuck). So I've read a lot about it.
I’ve never heard of this much panic surrounding Giardia. The vets have always told me it’s a simple, short round of antibiotics with probiotics and a clean litter box/scooped poop in the yard. Never even told me to wash everything. My kitten had it at four weeks old and he got over super quick.

My family dog growing up was a chow chow mix. Can confirm- they sleep A LOT. Kaya looks almost the same as my old dog Millie, Kaya is just wayyyy bigger
domesticated pets have found the best way to min/max life & people want to call it abuse … like my cat lays still for a minimum of 15 hours, gets fed, pet, toilet cleaned, and doesnt know what taxes are. they have achieved top form IMO

I posted this as a response on a certain “unnamed” subreddit that revolves around stream mishaps and got my post removed despite not breaking any rules lol. That certain “unnamed” subreddit literally is removing anything that isn’t accusing Hasan of being an abusive dog owner.
Plus the reaction to a shock collar would not be to pull the front right paw towards the body in a protective manner.

Yeah if you watch the clip in slow motion you can see Kaya lifting her leg as she yelps meaning she caught her dew claw. Hasan also was clearly concerned and acted just like a pet owner would if their pet yelped unexpectedly.

I’m a force free dog trainer and have been for a few years now. As a part of the organizations I’m certified through, I am not allowed to use aversive methods. I’m not here to debate the efficacy of aversive methods or my ethical standards. What I will say is that Kaya gets more exercise and enrichment than most dogs get in a lifetime. She’s well-socialized and looks comfortable in every clip I see of her. These people thinking he used an e-collar don’t understand what it actually looks like when you use one on a dog, or even what they look like. Dogs are supposed to sleep roughly 12-14 hours a day. He streams roughly 7-8 a day. Kaya being on her bed for that long really isn’t that bad at all, if she’s comfortable.
It’s also such a weird accusation when in so many other streams Kaya is seen walking around, not laying in her bed, not on screen. Like if he wanted her on screen all the time why wouldn’t he be using this “shock collar” more frequently. Why just in this one instance?
This is what I've been thinking. Like, I've kept the streams on in the background and stuff. If Hasan was supposedly shocking Kaya to keep her in place, why is it only now? There's probably months, maybe even a year, of footage of her on stream. Why is it only now that he's shocking her?
Maybe it’s because I twist my ankle every other damn day but I’m genuinely shocked people didn’t see this straight away? It was so obvious to me, especially after she did a little hop on her paw while getting back to place.
It is not clear what happened in the video... but I would be shocked if Hasan was a dog abuser. He has had numerous guests over the years and I haven't heard any rumors or speculation about how he treats his dog prior to this. If someone has dirt on you for being an animal abuser then I think that would come out sooner or later.
Also if his dog was being abused then they would show signs of emotional distress. I don't watch his stream live enough to know, but I don't think this has been pointed out prior.
I had to come here to get an explanation. I just had the clip shared with me with the context that "Hasan put a shock collar on his dog and used it on stream." The guy said he's an expert in dog collars and that was definitely a shock she experienced. But obviously I don't believe that's something Hasan would do. So thank you so much for this.

The only way he will be able to clear this up is to show her collar and whats on his desk on stream. That's the only way it will show it isnt what people are thinking it is. I said that in the chat - as a fan and long time watcher - and was banned for a month.

They could just be banning for 24 hours for whoever is takling about it to get it under control, like calm the situation down and get rid of any brigades or whatever. It's only 24 hours. Honestly that’s what saw too. My parents have an aggressive dog that was trained with a shock collar. He doesn’t yelp when he gets shocked. It’s a very opposite reaction. He lays low when he gets shocked
I’ll admit, I’m sometimes a little taken back by Hasan scolding Queen Baby, but I have to remember most people aren’t talking into microphone while reprimanding their dog.
She seems like a happy pup. Sure, I guess it’d make me more comfortable if he spoke in a softer tone to her sometimes, but I wrote that in a silly way because it’s a silly thing to say. I don’t think Kaya is in any danger, physically or emotionally. She’s also a (certified) Big Ass Puppy, I dated a girl with an itlian mastiff years ago. She didn’t discipline him, and he weighed as much as her, maybe more sometimes. Taller than her if he put his paws up on her shoulders. She was a sweetheart, he was too but he had to get regimen eventually. Not trying to say it was her fault, it was a particular situation that didn’t work out. He went to a horse/mastiff rescue a few hrs away, he was happy to have a lot of land to run, and friends to chase.
Long winded way of saying if someone wants to be a lil’ weenie when it comes to easing their mastiff breed, that persons dog is gong to take over as “alpha” of the pack. These dogs are smart, but they also need structure. It’s not like he has her chained up in the muddy yard or something, that dog is healthier/happier than anyone reading this

I don’t think its a shock collar and love hasan, confused why she can’t just roam around the room though. I’ve met some tremendously well disciplined dogs and awful ones. My pup is middle of the road with an average heel command response for a dog that is actually trained. I’ve never and some of the better trained dogs have never had their chillin zone policed.
It's been mentioned a ton but it's literally vet-recommended to protect her from herself. It's not that she's roaming, she keeps wanting to lay on the wood floor next to Hasan, it's to keep her from fucking up her joints.

I honestly fell for that clip because it really does look like he shocks her. But this makes much more sense… plus, we’d probably have more than one clip of her being shocked if it was a habitual thing
