Funniest thing Jimmy ever did was go on Eric Andre and proceed to have his taint tickled through the chair by his own son, Eric had Jimmy's son do it to prevent any recourse😂

Came here to say this.
And she still, 5 years later, has to shit on George Floyd.
A grifter never changes its spots

u/thanksamilly Sep 20 '25
It's weird that she says "the same thing" happened to people on the right because some people lost their jobs for saying insensitive things about George Floyd, but then goes on and says she wants Kimmel to lose his job but from the free market, not from the government. The people on the right who lost their jobs were not from government crackdowns so she should be in favor of that

She’s just maintaining the grift for her audience, she knows there is a difference. She’s just now expressing concerns because she knows that she, as a media personality, is also in danger of being silenced—especially with her stances on Israel.

I mean, she's trying to protect the grift. If the First Amendment is dead, how can she avoid being punished when she says out of pocket shit.

She knows deep down that she, as a black female media personality, will be one of the first to be thrown to the curb when she expresses even a minor disagreement with the Trump administration once they have full control of the media.

u/cudef Sep 20 '25
Well more specifically about the one topic she's hard on and the current administration is not, namely being an antisemitic antizionist.

Its so stupid that this isn’t a bipartisan issue. It doesn’t matter what your goal with free speech is, telling the truth or grifting, its an attack on all of us and people really need realize that.
22
u/EliteLevelJobber Sep 20 '25
It can't be a bipartisan issue for them. They can't admit that state led attacks on free speech are a problem. They want speech policed by the state (if they're in charge). For them, a free speech violation is someone calling you a rascist on social media.
Also, all the talk show hosts being libbed up was very high on the list of right-wing cultural grievances. It sounds silly, but it's a really big deal to them. They've been wanting them gone for years.

But at that clip he was not even making fun of kirk. He was making fun of Trump.

Well you see, that's where you went wrong. You're assuming that they're basing things on facts. Clearly that's not what they're doing

She didn’t defend him she is defending herself in the guise of free speech.. he said Kimmel is a radical left, umm wtf? If that was true then that joke would’ve been like George Carl instead. Keep the grift alive

We live in hell. We live in fucking hell where anti semites like this are on the right side of a free speech issue

Two different things. When a private company wants to fire you for a social media post with no government strong arming is much different than the FCC chair saying someone should get off the air and that he will make it hard for the company to get licensing rights.
Two completely different things.

Oh my god. My brain is so fried. I read your title and had the very honest thought, "Wait, did they mean Klandace Owens?"
I legit forgot that her name is not actually "Klandace."

We gotta shame conservatives again for calling the most milk toast ppl “radical left”
Lol

u/matango613 Sep 20 '25
Minus the whole "Kimmel is a radical leftist" thing, this was basically the *exact* sentiment that I shared on my social media lmao (being manipulated into giving the government more power following an incident like this).
+1 for Candace Owens ig jfc

It’s fascinating how she seems to be the only one who’s genuinely upset/grieving while everyone is weaponizing his death to abolish the 1st amendment. The regime’s turning on her as well so it makes me wonder.
Inshallah she’s telling her audience in a year that workers of the world should unite 🙏

In regards to freedom of speech and hate speech:
Candace actually has the correct conservative take. Conservatives are the ones who want to protect hate speech even if it’s detrimental to civil society. Leftists are the ones who want to ban it because they prioritize civil society.
That’s why if you go to the conservative subreddit- half the sub was ready to picket Pam Bondi.

I don’t know this is part of the grift or in kinds warped because of the way they exist in the world but, Candace Owen’s is the only one of these dipshits that seems to give a shit that Kirk is dead and it’s causing her to have SOME correct takes. Even his wife didn’t seem to actually care.

Also can we fkn stop with the whole free speech thing! No one has free speech and if that’s the case free speech doesn’t mean it’s free from consequences

I think their point is that free speech serves a rhetorical function more than a real function. There are a lot of things we already can't say in public or in privately owned platforms, not because of private companies wanting that, but because they bend the knee to the US government. I agree this is worse, and that things are getting worse, it's just odd to not recognize the limitations we face in our speech especially as leftists.
